Well if you're pregnant this discussion doesn't apply to you, but if your not, and your stomach makes you look like you are, you might be unhappy with it! (men can look pregnant too) In fact I think there are more pregnant looking men, than there are women. Look at it this way..... would you trade 30 minutes a day for a slender hard stomach?
When you are out of condition your stomach muscles just give up, and you get that pregnant look.. This can cause backache when your stomach over balances, and puts a strain on your back.
There are several ways to overcome this condition.
Let me know how you feel about it? Is it a problem in your life?
How far are you prepared to go to get back into shape again?

really funny .but the matter is a serious one and it is a common one now a days to see a pregnant man.in fact lot of people doesnt use tea poy now a days they take sip and place thier tea cup on theri stomach.
somepeople maynot eat much but their stomach will full fo fat.coz they are eating only fatty things .i think it can be solved by having a diet of more fibre, including more raw veg diet ,taking lot of fruits etc.this not only cause back ache all kind of diseases.

Its never too late to get your flat stomach back. It just takes dedication and a bit of work. One exercise that works for me is to lie down on the floor, feet together, hands by your sides, and head flat down. Now with your feet together raise your legs slowly. This will be difficult at first because your stomach muscles are out of condition. Raise them about 3 feet off the floor and slowly lower them again
I do this one about 20 times every morning.

I have a bit of extra flab on my gut that i'd like to get rid of. It seems that the older I get the harder it is to lose it. I am quite slim in other areas but I find it's just my stomach that needs attention. I plan on losing this extra blubber by eating smaller more frequent meals so I don't get bloated, doing some general exercise like walking and bike riding and also some sit ups every day. I'm not at the sit up stgae yet but I have been taking my dog for a walk daily and I have noticed a slight inmprovement already! To answer your question-yes I would be prepared to exercise for 30 minutes a day-not just to look good but also because exercise makes you feel good-and looking good makes you feel good too!

That extra flab may not be what it seems. When your stomach muscles are out of condition your stomach will fall forward making it look like extra fat. Once you get your stomach muscles hard and under control again this flabby look will disappear.
Start by walking, I like leg rises too. Lie flat on your back and raise your legs about 18 inches, and lower them slowly. Start with a few and over time do more. I do 18 lifts every day. Situps are Great. Lie on the floor and sit up without using your arms. Do this as many times each day as you can. In 2 or 3 months you will see a Big Difference! Good exercising!

Before I had my daughter my stomach wa slovely and flat but now it is definately not a part of my body I would be happy to parade in front of people in short tops and bikini's however if it was a choice of having my stomach back as it was or having my daughter all over again my daughter would win every time. I have tried dieting but it only does so much, the same with excersise. It does not depress me enough to get surgery or anything drastic done but it is just one of the parts of my body that I'm not over the moon about.

You need to get those muscles back in shape..... sit ups are very effective. Sit on the floor and lie back on a mat. Then without using your hands, sit up. You may need to place your feet under a couch to keep them from popping up before you do.
Start with one or two and keep doing it every morning until you can do 15 or 20. Your big stomach will just melt away.

Its a combination of loose muscles and Fat tissue. usually if you can tighten up those muscles your stomach will look and feel much better. I'd recommend joining a exercise club. Yoga is my favourite! Watch your diet and cut out the sugar foods and drinks. Swimming will trim up your abdominals also
Good luck and have a Great Holiday!

Basically you have to burn off more than what you put in to lose weight. Simple as that. Although I don't know how hard it is for you because of your medical problem. I am lucky, as I am naturally slim and have actually tried to put ON weight in the past-to no avail.I think the best way to go is just by using common sense and very strong will power. Plenty of natural fresh foods like vegetables and fruit, brown bread instead of white, more pulses and beans, less meat.

2 years ago I had the most amazing body (in my eyes) I have never been thin but I had perfectly proportioned body, and i had a flat stomach and i was so happy! But the past couple of years I have been in a very serious relationship BUT at a cost, I moved out only 6 months of being in the relationship and have only eaten food that fills me up not nessassarily the stuff that keeps me healthy, i do my best to exercise and I walk EVERYWHERE the nearest town to me is 10miles away and I walk there nearly every day, I don't stay in bed past 7.30am as I get up and burn energy dancing and prancing around my house whilst cleaning and yet my stomach just seems to get bigger, I am not pregnant and I know that and it is really exasperating to try and lose weight that just wont go! I have a DVD i do each day which is rapid hip hop movement along with middle body toning exercises and i still cant lose it, I would do anything to get rid of it apart from surgery, I dont believe that should be an option, I would in all honesty stay fat rather than go under the knife.

My stomach is bigger than I would like. Unfortunately, most of the excercises that are recommended for the stomach are hard on the back and with my back injury it is hard for me to do most of them. I have been doing what I can, but it isn't nearly enough to get into shape.
