What is/was best comedy on television?

My favorite comedy is Friends. I think it is absolutely hilarious. But I also really like the show Drake and Josh, even though it is more for younger kids, lol. But it is really funny. And I like the shows Threes Company and I Love Lucy.

My favorite until now is still Friends when it comes to comedy. This is one show that would make me laugh really hard. Each of the character is alive with their own antics and that is the special thing about that show. I hope that they will continue with new episodes or season so that I could go on laughing my heart out.

There are some English comedies I really love ( I am Australian). I love the "Frank Spencer" one, "Man about the House", "Dad's Army", to name a few. They are very old. At the moment there is a rerun on some of these comedies & I am very much enjoying it. Good discussion.

For me, it was "Friends" and "Cheers".

Seinfeld is hard to beat. I've found a new one, or at least it's new to me, MONK. It is very funny and entertaining.

lol, Frank Spencer was so funny, in "some mothers do ave em" but i have found myself to like Scrubs, friends, Green Wing, (in a weird way).

I will have to start my list with The Simpsons..there is nothing as funny as that..I can also add King of Queens, Sanford & Son, and Frasier

I like the Nanny and I still love it a lot. Whenever I watch the reruns on US televisions when I visit, I just will not go out and just sit and pay attention. I love it since I was young. Another one is I love lucy. Its a classic and I just love it too but I seldom see reruns.
