Anyone here seen the movie starring johnny depp entitled chocolat? I believe this was a well acclaimed movie some years ago. I was able to see this only in a cd I have borrowed. It is just sad that I was not able to see the ending of this movie. Anyone care to enlighten me? Thanks a bunch.

I loved this movie as well. But then again I've loved every movie Johnny Depp has been in. Even his TV series, "Twenty One Jump Street," was something I watched religiously. I'm thinking the ending for Chocolat actually had the mom and daughter leaving the village after she made everyone there happy, or at least happier. I guess we should watch it again.

I saw the movie today. It was the main attraction other then the chocolate at a friends of the library gathering. It was surprisingly deeper then I thought, I really want tot read the book now. I had no desire to do so before.

i've seen this movie at school. like a film showing for a subject, i think that was humanities.. cant really remember the ending but all i can remember was i really enjoyed the movie and i thanked God for my teacher who made us watch it. ^__^ johnny depp's movies are good. you should watch secret window, very chilling. ^__^

I really liked this movie. I remember seeing it in the movie theatre and I've rented it a couple of times as well. I don't remember the ending exactly. I just remember that JOhnny Depp's character comes back and the mom and daughter decided to stay in that village instead of moving on to the next one.
