Rant/ peoples kids comitting vandalism., what causes these kids to

break up the umbrella tables at the pool? rip out the newly landscaped flowers and throw them into the pool? As well as taking down emergency life preservers to use for toys?

In one word BOREDOM! Unfortunately in today's society we are getting this type of vandalism and hoodie culture, mostly kids are getting too much, they are being spoilt and getting all the latest fashions, they don't have to earn it nowadays, they are just given it to them on a plate so why should they work for it if they are given it to them for free. So they don't need to work they get bored and boredom is the devils work! They think it's funny and cool and hard to impress their gang members to kill animals, set fire to stuff and vandalize anything and everything. Mind you having no deterrant to properly punish them doesn't help!

Oh yes, and they totaly broke off the legs on the umbrella table and all those new beautiful plants were up rooted and thrown into the pool. Dirt was everywhere and torn plants in the water .. Now because of them we only have one umbrella table and chairs where before we had two...

This happens a lot in Adelaide & world wide I suspect. Why does it happen? A variety oif reasons I suspect. Some kids are brought up with no values & no respect.
Others, have a traumatic childhood, & this is their way of rebelling.
Still others, claim there is nothing to do, which is a load of rubbish.Their parents have never shown them to be interested in a whole range of activities such as sport, reading, art, etc.
Still other kids, have no will power & are heavily influenced by peer grouyp pressure.
