Fox terriers crossed with Shih-Tzu's are actually VERY cute - most of the time the pups are small, foxie looking with kind of scruffy hair.
The ones i've seen have never had the length of hair as the Shih-tzu & end up with more of a Foxie nose (maybe not quite as long) but the hair looks messy & about 1-2" long - i dunno if it gets longer than that though.
They just look like little scruff balls - oh & they're playful like a foxy but i dunno if it runs out of energy like a shih-tzu or not!

I just put fox terrier x shih tzu in the search engine & this is what it came up with :) Now you know what they'd look like - LOL!

This site is great. They look sooooo cute. Apparently are called Fo-Tzu. I woul;d LOVE puppies like this. Both Mother & Father have great personalities, & are fantastic with kids.
I can't wait until my dog comes on heat again. We tried to mate her with the shitzu one year ago, they were happy to oblige, but two weeks later or so she had a miscarriage.
