I collect cool things  

i collect old books, glasswear and a lot of other antiques which i buy mostly at garage sales and thrift stores...
my kids collect pez containers! hubby collects monopoly stuff and coke stuff (the drink, not the drug!)

I never got into collecting things. But, at an old job, I worked near an airport and we'd get very exotic coins and bills from other countries. We'd normally just put them aside and not really do anything with them. One night I had to hang around after hours for some contactors and i went through our collection. I was fasinated...So I asked my boss if I could have them. When word got out through the company that I was interested in forgin money, people started sendng it to me or bringing it back from thier travels. I love it. Really. I find it so interesting that there are places that a coin style or a currency becomes worthless after whatever change the country makes. Could you imagine Bush coming on tv and telling us nickels are no longer worth anything?!

I collect frog things. I love almost anything that has to do with frogs.

I also collect arrow heads. :)

I collect pottery. Bowls and bottles/jars mostly. I like to know the artist of the piece, so it is one of those things that I discourage people from just to buy me pottery.

Some of my most valuable pieces come from a fabulous potter name V Chin..... seriously. Isn't that funny?

yes, since I was a kid I've collected icicles. the kind that you find hanging from rocks. I know it's a bit odd to collect ice but some of these are just beautiful! I have a freezer full! lol!

For years I have collected ceramic birds. I also collect hummingbirds and elephants. And because I always liked Barry Manilow I collected ceramic pianos. For Christmas I have a Dickens village town which I collected from Department 56. Unfortunately where we live now I have no room to display any of these. Oh well, maybe some day I will again have the room, God willing.

I collect teddy bears, angels, Stephen King novels. At this moment I'm also collecting dragonfly windchimes and such for outside. I think it's fun collecting something. The joy of the hunt when you find that one that you been looking for. What I collect isn't worth anything, but it's just something I like.

I have a nice collection of china teacups and saucers, which was started for me when I was a child. They're in storage right now, but eventually I'll be back in my own place again. They're all really pretty and I"m looking forward to expanding the collection.

I also have some art glass and want to add to those as well. I love blown glass with fascinating designs in it.It can get tiresome dusting collections though, lol.

I like to collect Angels, as I have so many of them.

I seemingly collect books, particularly comic books and graphic novels. I prefer to not think about how much money has gone into filling my two huge bookcases...

I think I also collect music. We've got almost 20,000 songs on our computer. I had to buy a external hard drive just for music!
