My mom's dog is half pure breed dalmation and half whoknowwhat! But any way his name is REBEL and he is so protective of anyone in the house. He does not let any one walk in front of him or behind him. Sometimes I hate it because he is tooooooo over protective. Is your pet over protective of you?

My dog Tequila ( chihuahua mix ) is protective of me but he really couldn't do much, if I needed the protection. Lone ( Wolf-Hybrid ) on the other hand would shred anyone apart for messing with anyone in the family. My mom's dog Tyrant is protective of her - he wants to whoop booty even if it's putting lotion on her back. haha

Hi. Yes we have a pitbull, and she is a very good guard dog, shes not too over protective with us, but she does go nuts if strangers come up our drive way... She listens on command too...

No. Neither of my two dogs or two cats would be protective. The dogs are both wimps. One is a Dalmation cross, the other a mini fox terrier. They love everyone.

Yes, my dogs, mainly my Doberman is very protective..If some one new comes around he will always put himself in between myself and that person, he will settle but he wont take his eyes off them..Its so cute..I feel safe.

Ha, ha, ha, sorry, couldn't help but laugh after getting a vision of my pets as body guards. Let me let you in on the joke, we have guinea pigs! Could you imagine them protecting one of my family from anything, lol!
