Before I go to work this morning, I watched the television and most of the news is about our previous president judgement. I think it is the right thing that he is judge as guilty. Of course, I took pity for him also but he should serve as a big lesson for all government officials in our country today and for the future. We all know that there are many government officials who are corrupt out there and who are still unpunished.

Yes, it would have been ok if he accepted GMA's offer to go out of the country but he refused because he wants to prove his inoocence. I just pity him he is old and there are still other people who should also be imprisoned with the same offense.

Pardon me but I refuse to get myself affected with this crisis. I think that we Filipinos are very unfortunate to have very unreliable presidents. It's so disgraceful to our society. We change presidents and elect those whom we think are the lesser evil...but we know that they are all evil and greedy for power. Erap happen to be just one of them...but so does Arroyo and Marcos and I think every other president we had since the day we gained "sovereignty"...I think it would be a miracle if someone who is really honest and concerned with the welfare of the people in this country will become president. But even so, he might only be in office for just one day because all those corrupt officials will make sure of that.
I feel so sorry for the Filipino people.

Thats good that you refuse to get affected with this issue, but undeniably we are all affected, our economy is affected and people are all affected.
