I was going to say The Breakfast Club, hands down. But, sephrenia's post reminded me of The Princess Bride. So, those two. No matter how many times either one comes on, I'm there in front of the tv, watching them.

Goonies or Lost Boys would rank high for me...beating out those teen romancy drama things.
For the latest news on the Lost Boys 2 or perhaps other 80's horror check out: www.terrortube.com

Do you mean a film that symbolizes the 80's best or my favorite movie that was made in the 80's?Answer number one is Valley Girl.It was pure 80's. I think anyone who wasn't a teen in the 80's may need a Valley girl-English dictionary to follow the film. The Answer number 2 is harder. There were so many good films that came out that I don't have just one. Here are a few.The Big Chill, Sophie's Choice, "Night Mother, Moonstruck, Porky's ,Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Say Anything. Making Love.

I asked myhubby, and he said "back to the future." I think mine, may be The Goonies or The Sandlot. I can still watch these movies over and over again, and not get bored!

You forgot Footloose!
I liked Pretty in Pink and Flashdance a lot.
Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles were okay, but they weren't up there with the other two.

I love Flashdance, it's a fantastic film and i have seen it about a hundred times. The dance sequences are amazing and i think the storyline is great. Basically it's an all time classic and it's one of those films you recommend to anyone who hasn't had the sense to watch it already.
