Yea, you are right, especially when that's a sweet and romantic story! Well, I once asked my parents about their love story. They actually met each other in a wedding ceremony. My mom was the bridesmate and my dad was the best friend of the groom. "Well, that's a first sight love", my dad said. He approached the group of mom's friends which are also his social group and get mom's contact.
According to mom, she didn't like dad at earlier stage, the chemistry was not there yet. Thus she purposely made herself looks messy with the ugly sleeping cloths on. But, due to dad's enthusiastic and honesty, mom's fall on him finally. How sweettttt.....:)

I don't know that much but what I do know is that my grandfather did not like my father at first,so he tried to discourage my mom for having her in her life, because dad is poor and is out of school..and many other reasons but eventually they got married and granpa ended up liking him too.

Yes I know the love story of my parents. My father told me about it. How he mat my mom, what did he do to win her heart, how things started, why they get married, the things that my mom do when she was pregnant, all those little fight for my name, almost evrything. And I could say that I love hearing and hearing it again and again. Its the greatest love story I ever heard.

Since my parents haven't talked about their love story official to me, so I don't know more about it. I just know my mom wanted to chose him even at that time there would be more better choices. Today we can tell that my mom made the right decision.

Yes, I do know the love story of my parents of full details. No matter how busy our lives are, we really spend some moments together. My parents always give us a quality time wherein we can discuss anything we want to. We usually spend it over a bounty meal and talk about anything. There was one time wherein they shared to us their love story. They shared to us some of their happy and sad moments when they were still on their boyfriend-girlfriend stage. They even shared to us about their exes, it's a bit weird but it's really true. They are very open to us.

YES! We've heard it so many timesand we (my sister and I) have asked details so many times, that we know it by rote now..lol
Their love story is so beautiful and ironically I've had an arranged marriage and my sister too will be having an arranged marriage in a few months! So, our love story starts after marriage. I'm just disappointed that I have no love story that ended in marriage to tell my kids.

My parents met in London. My dad was from Sydney, Australia, my mum from Vancouver, Canada. They fell in love and married. At first they had no intention of having children. They had a wonderful time in London and travelled alot in Europe. After seven or so years of marriage they finally decided to have a kid, and I came along, and boy was I a handful!

My father is a New Orleans boy, and my mother's parents (natives of Georgia) retired to some remote area in Louisiana outside of New Orleans. My dad was a mechanical engineer at the time and worked at one of NASA's test sites near Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. This was during the early days of the space shuttle program (early 1980's), and they would test payload that was to go into orbit. My mother even has an American flag that was flown on one of Columbia's first flights - she was a secretary at that same test site, which is how she and my father met. They married in 1982 on Tchoupitoulas Plantation in New Orleans. I was born the month before Sally Ride became the first American woman in space (which was purely coinsidence)...

My parents were high school sweethearts. They met in high school. My mom was a year younger than my father. She heard he liked red heads and dyed her hair red for him. She would go to the restaurant that he worked at with her friend and sometimes they'd take his tips so she'd have reason to talk to him and such. After they graduated high school they got married. My dad had just turned 20 and my mom would be 19 later that year. They've been married for 34 years.

Hello there prettyNblue,
I want to know but i never had the chance to ask them about their lovestory. Maybe I had but I never dare try. I don't know what approach to make. Im not comfortable and shy to ask them. Maybe because of our situation right now. Well if i had another chance i'll try to ask my mom about it. LOL!

My parents first met each other during a wedding. The couples who were wed that day was my mother's older brother and my father's older sister. From that time on, they already have a bit constant encounter especially if they visited both sides of the family. Later on my father started courting my mother but he can't visit frequently because he lives 4hrs drive away from my mother. Like any other relationships, ups and downs are there. Inspite of that, my father persevere and after 3yrs of their relationship they got married.

It seems that the love story of my parents is also happening to me now. My father was a native in Luzon, my boyfriend is the same. My mother is native in Davao, I too was born and raised in Davao. My father like my boyfriend came to Davao because of work and fell in love with my mother. He stayed in Davao forever and have no dreams of going back to his home in Luzon. I am now engaged to my boyfriend, and I guess history repeats itself! =)

I asked my parents' about their love story when I was a kid. My parents were introduced to each other by my uncle, my mother's elder cousin, who worked together with my father. My mother was in her hometown before she was introduced to my father. They developed their love and got married later...

My parents lived about 7 hours drive apart. They both worked for the railway. My dad would have to ring the office where my mum worked with train info. They got to know each other over the phone and then started writing letters to each other. They did this for quite some time and then when they met face-to-face for the first time my dad proposed. My mums father said no to the engagement, saying they did not know each other well enough. So they got to know each other more and then were married.
Many couples have a song - my parent's song was 'Put Your Sweet Lips A Little Closer To The Phone' because that is how their relationship started.
