Which CSI is You Favorite?  |

 OK, someone just asked this about the Law and Order shows and, who knows, someone probably asked this one at one time or another as well, but I didn't see it...lol...Anyway, which do you like best, original CSI, Miami, or New York? In my opinion, I like them all, they're all very interesting with great casts and writing but I personally like Miami best. I think it's the locale, the gorgeous beaches, and expecially when we're in the middle of a terrible a Pennsylvania winter it's nice to watch a show set where it's warm and sunny. Plus, since I've watched from the beginning, I've come to feel I "know" the characters and care about them. How about the rest of you..what's your preference?

1.  twoey68 (5214) | 10 months ago |  CSI Vegas is my favorite with Gil being my favorite actor on it. CSI Miami is second with Callie being my favorite on that one. I love all the players in both though. I've never really gotten into the CSI New York series though.

CSI is my favourite shows, overall.
But I can't stand David Carridan, someone has to tell hime that his method acting is rediculous and no one acts that way unles they are in a tv program, and now his coworkers are mimicing him.
Now CSI New York, I love it.
The origanil is really good but I find the dark of Nes York very good, they are concentrating on the dark side of human nature and I like that the producers have picked up on the common factor. Susan

That's the unique thing about the CSI franchise is, although they share the same producer and creator they're each uniquely their own show with each one capturing the persona or feel - or whatever you'd call it...lol - of their locale.
My brother likes the Miami show and the rest of the cast but he can't stand David Caruso. I've come to like him, to be truthful and I really do like the character of Horatio. Are there any cops that are that compassionate?

But if I were to choose, I prefer the original series a little better.
The stories were more realistic. The evidence investigations better scripted to make it believable.
For Miami, Horatio has the knack to spew out obvious overstatement. Alexx has this thing with the corpses at her table. I like looking at the various female lead though. Pretty and sexy, all dressed up when they go to the crime scene for investigations.
For New York, some of the cases are really believable. And the stories are pretty good as well.
All three shows have very good casting. I enjoy watching all of them and is still an avid follower of the series.

I'm not trying to put your taste down, I know many fans of his! But I love the character of Gil Grissom, his character fascinates me. He is so socially unaware; at the same time he is so intelligent. He's just very interesting to me.

I know so many people prefer the original and I think that may be because they've been with it since the beginning which, unfortunately, I wasn't. I'm not sure what I was watching at the same time when it first started but I was a late-comer to this series. Miami was one I watched from the first episode so I know all the background of the characters, I think that has something to do with it. I'm learning more about Grissom's character all the time now and I like him a lot too.
