Something New; Why Not an Avatar Gallery?

I have just spent some time designing a new avatar. The problem w is, you only see a very small version of it. I am going to post it here as a picture so you can take a look at it in all its glory. Well maybe not all its glory, it still needs some work.
If you have put some time into your avatar and are proud of it. Why not posted here so we can all see it in a version big enough to appreciate it.

The picture from my avatar is not my creation, but here it is.
I don't know why, but reading the other responses it seems like I'm the only one who understood your wish to see avatar pictures added to this discussion. Or am I wrong?

Thanks, so far, you're the only one who seems to get it. I thought it might be kind of fun to assemble a bunch of avatars all in the same post. I do like yours I looked at it and gave it a plus rating. There are some really imaginative ones here. It is kind of a shame that we only see them in a very small thumbnail.
I did think I made it plain, what I was trying to accomplish here, but apparently I didn't. Being an English teacher it worries me. I'm afraid it says something about my communicative skills that I'm not really very happy to realize.

Though not my current avatar this was one of the ones people liked.
I thought it was great too. I simply got the screenshot from a friend and just cut it to appropriate size. Then I made it into a bill form.

When I see an interesting avatar, I just go to the person's profile page where there always is a larger version.
