When you eat the french fries, will you put ketchup on them?

Yep, french and ketchup are a great combo!;) I also add some mayo on it, since I like also the sweetness of the mayo and the sourness of ketchup..

well it depends really on where i buy the fries and how they are made.. if i get them at a fast food resturant like mcdonalds or someting i usually just eat them plain before they get cold. If i buy a big thing of them at a fair i put salt and vinegar on them and then ketchup and sometimes cheese too! If my husband makes them here at home deep fryed ill do the same vinegar salt and ketchup. if i get them at a resturant like apple bees i will dip them in my hoiney mustard or something.. i guess it depends on the place, my mood and the flavor of the fries

I don't eat ketchup very often I like to dip my french fries in ranch dressing or Wendy's Frostys those are the best things there are to dip french fries in I wish we had a Wendy's so I could go get some ff's and a Frosty.

I know sometimes when I get french fries Im too impatient I will eat them from the bag.LOL No time for ketshup.LOL I think they are good without ketshup.But my husband eats french fries with lots of ketshup. He really knows how to reck a good frech frie.LOL

For the most part I do not like French fries. They need to be very fresh and hot. I do like ketchup on them. I have jalapeno ketchup here at home. I really like a certain type of fry, better than the traditional French fry, I like curly fries. They are usually cut in a spiral, and the ones I buy at Arby's restaurants are seasoned with some kind of a spice mixture,I am not sure what is in it besides the salt. I am pretty sure there is paprika, because it gives them a really pretty reddish color.I like French fried potatoes if they are made from real potatoes, and some of them have a little of the skin left on. I think that is the kind I get at Perkins restaurants. I still will put ketchup on them all.

I also ate french fries directly especially when it is still hot. But if I want to add something new. I like to dip my fries into an ice cream or in a gravy. I don't like to dip my fries in a ketchup.

When I get my french fries from McDonalds I would request for little salt and eat them right away without any dips. I like their (McDonalds) fries a lot and would like to savor its taste without any additional flavor. However, if the fries are from other place sometimes it tastes better with ketchup, or depending on the ketchup's taste I guess. But, then again, I don't really like ketchup so I would prefer to eat them alone, without any dipping.

I don't like adding condiments to my french fries. I prefer no salt or ketchup or anything. I'm a big fan of french fries. However sometimes if I'm eating fries and chicken nuggets I will then sometimes eat honey on the fries as well as the nuggets. I agree with you that condiments take away from the fries flavor!
