D.I.Y projects do you like doing them?

I do like a bit of do it your self (not that I am any good at it mind you) but it is a great fun. I am the supervisor and the idea person most often than not but if its a no brainer than I can do it too. Things around the house like stiching this and that I am fine. Usind instructions I am great (even the ikea once). Me and my 4 year old were making this chair stool sort of thing (out of odd pices of wood left over from a big project my husband did) it was half done by the time I realised I made a mistake (me and hammer please) so I left it but my son loved it

lol..I'm not very good at it either but my 7 year old son and I love doing things together. We are always coming up with ideas on what to do next.The only problem is that now I don't have enough time with the younger one needing my attention allthe time;(

Do try and have something made once in a while kids to treasure those things a lot. Even if its a 30min thing there are many projects that dont take a lot of time I used to buy pre cut things that you only glued together to do with my nephew. Or even things that only need to be painted.

Yes, I should do that. We have quite a few things that need to be done. Maybe I can do it in slots (a little bit at a time).

my hisband also does not have a lot of free time so we have 1 day a week just for that it took time to get used to but now we know monday is fix it day.
