Im in search of a new purse. I have been using the same purse for four years. I had other purses but they have all broken. I am looking for something cute and big because I carry two tons of crap in my purse. So I want to know where you shop for purses.

Oh sh!t! Girl it takes me weeks to find a purse, this is nothing you can accomplish in one day of shopping! You have to venture from store to store, mall to mall to find the purse of your dreams, the one that will cater to your every female need in the the world. Size DOES matter!!
I wish you luck! Try them on girl! I put them right over my shoulder and shop around. Gotta get the feel of that purse, not just hold it and look at it. ;o)

Dont be embarassed!! Your paying for it. I bought a Kenneth Cole purse from Dillards once, the lady had to take it out of a case right. And when I slung it over my shoulder to go walk around for a minute with it, she said, "Ma'am are you going to buy it?" lol I laughed and said, "I dont know yet, can I try it out for a moment?"

ha, you know what i'm kinda a cheapo, i will not buy purses at dept stores, as i cannot fathom spending $300 or more whatever, on a purse....and i LOVE big purses as well, as i carry a lot of stuff for my 3 year old in there. I like Target fine enough for purses. decent prices, but not too cheapo looking! they last a lil longer than ones i buy at wal-mart, but they all work fine enough, and then if i only spend $12-$24, i expect it to last for not too awfully long, but if i were to bust up a $300 purse quickly, i'd be so mad at myself! i'm rough on things!! haha! keep me posted on what you buy! i love purses!! but i don't care if they're brand names or not, really. do you? shoot, if you had your last one for 4 years, it must have been a fantab purse eh?!!

you know what. i finally went over to just look at their diaper bags (but i can still get away with that with a lil one i suppose, not sure if you'd want to, you never know who can tell and who can't) but diaper bags HAVE changed in a big way now! their not ALL about pooh bear and the such. and have GREAT pockets and compartments!! but i always make sure to have my son's sippy cup and a water bottle for myself when we go out so i was looking for something that had those pockets on the sides for such things, don't want them to leak all over my wallet ya know?...so that's where i ended up. but the bag i got is SUPER cute!
but in the purse section there really weren't TOO many big ones. there were a few, but they were gold and ugly shiny like. sometimes they have cute things and other times not, such a pain! and yes, you want it to last, miss i-carry-tons-of-pounds-in-my-purse!! BUT why should you carry 2 bags, one for the notebooks and such and one for your personal stuff, that's a pain, so i can totally see why you want ONE big one to put it all in. i'm the same way anymore! maybe you should get your BF one too though! haha! but i can't say anything, my hubby always makes me carry his phone and keys...boys i swear!

I usually get mine at target too but im having trouble finding one thats big enough and with the right type of closing that the top. And it has to be cute. I bought a new one at target last year but it broke, like I said I keep a lot in my purse so it has to be able to withstand a couple pounds of stuff. None of their purses online look very big.

I recently bought a black leather purse at Kohl's Department store. It's great and I am now able to carry pictures of our grandkids in a butterfly album. I believe it was only $19.99 and love it. It has several compartments and a special zippered area for cash or credit cards. It's also a shoulder purse which I prefer. Good luck searching.

I like the Vera Bradley bags. They are kinda expensive but they last for a long time. They have different patterns and stuff too.

Hi kiobug.I buy my purses at a shopping mall boutique in another town about an hour away.They have great specials and alot of very nice canvas ones that i love preferbly "BUM" purses.
