What's your favorite Cary Grant movie?

Without a doubt hands down His Girl Friday with Rosalind Russell. Their quippy back and forth banter is exhilarating and fun to watch even 50 plus years later. And I'm not even that big of a Cary Grant fan. I usually watch his movies because there is someone else in them that I enjoy. Like with Bringing Up Baby or The Philadelphia Story. Jimmy Stewart and Katherine Hepburn are always a joy to watch.
I think every generation has its chance to enjoy his movies though. That is the greatness of dvds,cable,and satellite television. The immortal films and film stars can be enjoyed by generation after generation separately or simultaneously.
It is because of my father who grew up in the 30s and 40s and who grew up with movie stars such as James Cagney and Edward G. Robinson that I found my love of the oldies but goodies. To this day I give a movie automatic bonus points for being in black and white.

My first memory of watching movies on tv saturday afternoons with my father was of Cary Grant running from the plane in "North By Northwest."

I do love Arsenic and Old Lace. Cary Grant is truly a master of the "double take" and I think is the only real person/non cartoon character who could pull it off in his time. I know he is known to some as a romantic leading man, but to me I think it is is comedic timing and roles which explore those talents are when he is at his best.

Correction. Grace Kelly wasn't in North By Northwest. That was Eva Marie Saint. Grace and Cary were in To Catch A Thief.My favorite Cary Grant films are In Name Only, North By Northwest, and To Catch A Thief.He was great in comedies, dramas and suspense films.He was great.

I was never really a big Cary Grant fan but I do love Arsenic and Old Lace. I think that's the funniest movie and watch it whenever I get the chance.

I love so many Cary Grant films. I think he was won of the most versatile actors ever. If I had to pick a favorite, I think it would be Penny Serenade. It's a drama with Irene Dunne. He plays an adoptive father trying to keep the courts from taking their little girl away. It's a real tear jerker, and he did an excellent job.
