|  I grew up listening to old country music. My grandpa would sing and play the guitar. We would always listen to George Jones and some other country singers such as Merle Haggard, Conway Twitty, Earl Thomas Conley and Hank Williams Sr. Some of my favorite songs by George Jones include The Grand Tour, White Lightning, He Stopped Loving Her Today, A Good Year For The Roses and The Bottle Let Me Down. What's one of your favorite George Jones songs?

| |  I grew up listening to old country music too. George Jones is still one of my favorite singers. I would have to say that,He Stopped Loving Her Today is my favorite somehow that song reminds me of my dad. I also like all the ones you named plus Rocking Chair and Beer Run which I think he sang with Garth Brooks.

| |  George Jones is a legend in the Country genre of music! He has been instrumental in infuencing the sound of what our modern country performers sound like today! Many of these artists credit George for their own success!
I believe that even some rockabillys mentioned they were influenced and inspired by George Jones!

| |  My 2 absolute favorite George Jones songs are Choices and He Stopped Loving her Today. Especially he stopped loving her today. When I was a kid, I thought it was a pretty song, but didn't understand the meaning. Last year I was listening to some old country and the song played and I thought "wow, I remember this... it's so pretty..." and then the meaning hit me and I was sobbing. I probably listen to the song a few times a month and it makes me teary eyed every time. Such a beautiful and moving song.

| |  I love "Choices" a lot also. I saw him last night March 20th here in Minnesota at Mystic Lake Casino. A great show. I love the duets he has had with various female artsits as well. Near Me for one I loved. I think it was Tammy Wynatte.
