Is there anyone else feeling misserable these days. Late morning still dark , late afternoon dark and in between fog and rain. So if you add frosty nights, it's just the great mash to get grumpy. Or is it only me?

I'm not going to let it make me feel miserable but yes I hate it. When I get out of work at 5pm it's so dark that it feels like 9 and I should be going home to go to bed. The weather has been so nasty that I can't tell what time it is when I get up in the morning. I'm still not going to let it get me down though...I'm just going with the flow and dealing with it.

I don't giving up, just looking out of window and just can't help myself, to shout it out. For relief .

Yes, yes, yes - winter makes me miserable! We all need a bit of vitamin D each day from the sun, and without it, we tend to get sad and grumpy. The worst part of it is the horrible wind. I can't wait to retire to a place without any winter!

I'm just like you, strogy! The older I get, the less I can cope with the cold. Not only that, but when there's no sign of any sun for days and days, I definitely start feeling very low and depressed. There's a name for it - SAD - I think it stands for Seasonal Adjustment Disorder, or something. It's because we're not getting enough Vitamin D from the sun. I also like to get out and have a walk each day, but if it's really windy I won't go because of tree branches being blown down. We're hoping to retire to a warmer place!
