I know that all has hoghs and low in life. But i have noticed that few people have constant hardship in life. they seems to be unlucky in everything and all seems a daunting task to be done for them. I am telling all these as I find my situation to be like that. In everything i face to much obstruction while for most its just a cakewalk. How life has been to you?

I think it depends on your attitude and outlook. It's the difference to being an optimist or a pessimist. One looks always on the bright side, the other looks on the down side. Some people live in the past and dwell on bad things that have happened instead of letting go and getting on with things and making things better. Some depend on others for their happiness when it's really up to the individual. If you continually live with a mind full of negativity and the things that have gone wrong for you then that's where you'll stay. If you think positively and work and live to be functional and happy, that is what will happen. Not always of ciourse but with the proper attitude, things won't look so bad.

Gosh sometimes I feel the same way. I see many people here who never had a struggle in their life's yet I seem to go from one struggle to the next and everything I do to better my life is faced with challenges many others don't seem to face. But I try to stay positive and think that once I do make it I will be happy that I did the effort to get there.

It's all in the mind if you ask me. If you want to see it as hardships, then you think you are unlucky. If you look at your hardships as learning opportunities and the chance to learn more about yourself and life and to make yourself stronger, then you are lucky(you get more chances than others). I've been through quite a bit myself and understand how you think (I used to think that way myself)...but when I started looking at the other side of the coin, I started feeling better. I'm not saying that I'm not down in the dumps sometimes, and wondering 'Why me?'...but I then have to remind myself of the learning experience and after a good nap I'm better. Try and see if this technique works....if it doesn't you probably are depressed and need help for it. If that's the case, please get help soon. Depression is curable.

Well, my life has its ups and downs. I would have to say that you just have to view life in the postive sense in order to get the best out of it. You also need to work for it, not just wait for the apple to fall down on you. It will help you a lot when you see things in its positive light and you will have a clearer outlook in life.

I too have faced many difficulties in my journey since growing up. However, I am glad I been through all these and have survived. I just remind myself that I am in fact much luckier than many people and have be able to live happily in a world of my own. lol.

It's all in how you look at things. Attitude goes a long way. You have a choice. You can choose to be miserable and complain about things or you can choose to have a positive outlook. There's a saying "whatever the mind can conceive you can achieve" If you dwell on the bad that's all you will get. Change your attitude about a situation and you will see positive results.
