The Washington Post says that Oprah is going out on the campaign trail in favor of Obama. And of course, Bill is campaigning for Hillary. Both will be in Iowa before the Jan. 3 caucus. Now...I would love to see a debate between Bill and Oprah! Wouldn't that be cool? Who do you think would win?

Not sure about how fitting Oprah is for compaigning for him, but I do think she will give them a run for their money and I do think she will bring up the important issues that really concern all of us. I wish I could see a debate between them too.

Good question. I like both of them. I think that Bill would probably win simply because of training. Lawyers are trained in debate and he certainly has had the experience in having to deal with issues and difficult people. Oprah has skill at running things the way she wants and has been very sucessful. I wonder though if she had to debate an issue how well she would do. I took debate a long time ago and one of the things I learned was to be able to discuss both sides of an issue. In our class we discussed important issues which we were passionate about but when the instructor picked sides we sometimes had to support an issue we did not agree with which made for some interesting debates.

Oprah is obviously more honest and intelligent than Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton is obviously more devious and underhanded than Oprah. A debate between them would be interesting for gathering evidence as to which is the more valuable trait, honest intelligence or guile.
I would hope Oprah would win.

It would be a good debate, but as far as a winner goes I'd put my money on Bill. After all, he's a professional politician. I don't know if Oprah out campaigning for Obama will do any good or not, it'll be interesting to see if her support gives him the additional votes. After all, all your business needs to do is end up on Oprah's "favorite things" list and you have more exposure than you know what to do with.
