are you ready?  | | | |  I was reading a newspaper one day quoting a Christian author who theorized that Christ would call millions of Christians to heaven before sundown that particular day. A few minutes later, a friend walked up, sat down, and began to tell me that his life had been dramatically changed. He said that for the first time in his life he was ready to meet the Lord. This was good news, since we had often discussed his unwillingness to live in a manner consistent with his claim to be a Christian.
He said he decided that it was all or nothing. He had an amazing peace, and now he was also concerned about others. When I asked him what had happened, he told me he had read the book I had been reading about in the newspaper. He said he finally realized that whether Christ came on that day or another day, he would have to stand before the Lord eventually.
To claim that Christ will come today may result in a false alarm. But to believe that Christ may come today and that we will have to answer to Him will motivate us to live for Him.

Yes, I am ready! I am saved by Jesus Christ! I am a sinner and I do not deserve to go to Heaven, but Jesus came to save me from my sins and I believe! I have repented of my sins and have received Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. It is totally life-changing! It is awesome!
No one knows when Jesus will come again. Only the Father in Heaven knows the exact day and hour. The Bible says that He will come like a theif in the night. Those who are saved will rejoice with unimaginable joy and gladness! Those who have rejected the Lord...this will not be a good day for them! We all need to come to the Lord Jesus NOW! Don't put it off. Satan always lies to us saying that we have time. Go, drink and be merry! You have plenty of time! Don't believe satan! We never know when our time will come to meet the Lord!
Jesus Christ loves you! He wants you to know Him and be with Him forever in Heaven!

| |  Do you believe everything you read in the newspaper? If these Christians are so smart why aren't they rich? I fell off a ladder once and was immediately ready to meet the Lord. In fact I thought I had already met Him. At that time, I thought it was all or nothing. ( I didn't have a bowel movement until 8 days later) Anything can happen any time, and usually does! My advise when climbing a ladder is to Hang on for Dear Life! To answer your Question.... Yes I'm ready,( steady that ladder will you?)

In the eyes of God, material wealth is not His measure of being rich. Riches in money doesn't mean God's approval. In fact, if it's not from God, your riches comes from the Devil.
True riches, is found in God and God alone. Remember Elvis Presley? He was rich, famous, had all that he wanted in this life. But what's his end? He end up in a tragedy keeping others wonder how in the world someone like him ended his life in such a tragic...

While the Bible says not to store your treasure here on earth, I have to say that God does give an abundance of riches even in money to some people.
I read a story about a Christian that nearly lost everything and lost his partners in business, he negotiated with banks to stay out bankruptcy, and the banks worked with him, when one of his properties sold for 400,000 over market the bank gave that back to him.....and his former partners wanted to share the wealth, .....he did not share with him, I look at a story like that as a blessing and that God Blesses people!

| | WEll I can't say I agree with anyone who says Christ will come on a certain day even a certain time, for the Bible is clear that only God knows the minute that Jesus will return for the Chritians.
Now while I believe in the Bible and what it says, Iknow that there are many here on mylot that don't, and I respect that, I am not going to try to force someone to believe...
