I wish I had the money to give my husband the History of US Airforce-$75.00
There was another book that was even more interesting with an even better price, $100.
Makes the 50 things to do with your cat book for $5.95 plus NY Tax look extremely reasonable!
So what books are you planning on giving for Christmas?

I give each of my girls a book in the Christmas Eve Box every year. This year my 11 year old is hooked on Bailey's School Kids. Actually, I think I got her one of those last year too. My older daughter has just discovered "The Clique" series of books so I got her one of those. I got my sister a Chinese Cookbook (as requested apparently). I bought them all on Amazon.

Nice assortment! I hope to make enough money online some day to buy books here, too. Just have to keep trying. Thanks for your response.

My sons are both Star War fans, but I do not know if they have them all and I also have a granddaughter, we were thinking of giving her a Dr. Seuss book, she is much to young to read by my daughter-in-law can read it for her. As for my husband, I already got him a DVD and besides he prefers audio books that he can take along in the car. I got him a cassette book once, but he has not listened to it for a long time. It all depends on what money I can spend for Christmas, with books costing $25 or more, and I only have $50 left to divide between four people I will be a hard time getting anything.

I got my sister a set of Gooseberry cookbooks (small paperback). I got my grandson, Caleb a book called "Prince Elmo and the Pea". It has all of these *sound effect* buttons that he will love dearly. Almost two, and he loves to be read to.

Those sound like lots of fun! Bet they enjoy them. Haven't had a gooseberry yet, but hoping to someday. Take care

I know it's not quite a book, but I was really excited to find vintage comic books of the film "Labyrinth" on eBay. It's my partner's all-time favourite film and he likes comic book art and I don't think he knew they existed. I can't wait to give them to him!

Thanks, I'll check, but usually you bid 99cents and someone else bids and it goes to 50 dollars by the time everyone gets done bidding. But it's worth a shot! Condition may not be great if it goes for way less, too. I'll have to check it out. It might happen and it might not. Take care
