why do Disney/Family films try to kill the tough man image?  | |  Why is it that Disney and other related family films try to kill an image of a tough guy? Why is it that they think we love to see "bad guys" behaving themself? I think they are a career killer. I mean look at Duane "The ROCK" Johnson, Ice Cube and Vin Diesel. They love to go get someone who has a tough exterior and put them in a buffoon role where they have finally met their match from some dorky kids. I don't get it. How can these guys ever go back to being raw, now that they have little kids giggling and smiling at them. You just wait for the dorky Emeniem or Fifty Cent Disney film on it's way soon.

| | | | | | 1.  toryaslim822 (155) | 8 months ago |  Well, I think The Rock, Ice Cube and Vin Diesel could have turned down the scripts, so maybe they wanted to get away from the tough guy image for they can prove they can be lovable too. And they could have turned down these parts if they didnt want to do them. I dont think it is Disneys fault or any or Family Films fault either. Those actors could have easily said no to the parts. Thats is just my opion though.

And I just think most of these guys have kids and they want to have a movie that their kids can watch them in and not be all scared or anything. But that is just my view. | |

Of course, it's possible that some people can accept an actor in completely different roles. When they sign up for a Disney film, they know what type of movie it is.
