Illegal immigrants are leaving Arizona

It seems that Arizona has a new law and it's causing quite a stir. Businesses found to have knowingly hired illegal workers will be subject to sanctions from probation to a 10-day suspension of their business licenses. A second violation would bring permanent revocation of the license. This is causing many immigrants to decide it would be better to be back home in Mexico? Could it really be that easy?

No you can be sure it will not be easy to move them back to Mexico..Houston Texas is full of illegals and they do not want to go home except for a visit. They have it to good down here. Those immigrants might be willing to leave Arizona but you can bet they will go to another State, probably here...These that are living her stay busy working, a lot of them are doing business of their own.I know of one right now that has his papers and he has about 20 of his friends down here working and they have no papers. They use false identities and different social security numbers, they are very very smart..The people in Mexico, not all of them but most of them are very very poor, and they send their sons and their nephews, and daughters here to work and earn money, most of them have no green card, but they are working. When they get their check they will send it back to Mexico to their people...I am not critical because i do not know the hardships that they are going through but i do know what i am saying is true...Most of the ones here really would like to go home but they have it better here, a better way of life..They are also marrying some of the local girls here so they can become legal, and some of them pay them pay the girls here to marry them for money.I know of several that have done that.they also keep to themselves because they do not trust us, they feel we will turn tham in..So No i do Not think they will return to Mexico. They send them home here by bus fulls and they are not ther one day before they are right back down here..

It will never happen in Texas. The Rio Grande Valley grows many thousands of acres of garden crops all planted, hoed, weeded and harvested by Mexican Illegals. Last Sunday we drove along the roads and saw hundreds of workers harvesting garden crops in the rain wearing rainsuits. There is NO WAY Americans would work in these conditions on a Sunday! Texas needs these Illegals! God Help America!

yup it cuold be just that easy if the law wentin effect that the employer would get the fines for hiring illigals! NO work they go home why not alot of our companies have gone there so why dont they goto work in there own country! and I think NEvada needs to follow suit and put in in to effect here .
Boy would the true americans get jobs fast if this happened the casinos would empty out fast also most businesses here. I get very tired going to a place of business and not be able to talk to the sales person for they understand very little english!
read the post I made months ago

This looks like a really good idea, and does seem to be working according to that article.
All of the states need to implement similar laws and maybe then we would get rid of the illegals.
Now if we could only find a way to get rid of the lying liberals... then we could get this country back on track.

The reason the illegals are in the States is because they think that they can get away with it, and that they will not be caught. They also do not want to go through the legal process and think that the States owes them a living. Once they find out that they have to go back to Mexico and the only way they can come to America legally which with the NAFTA rules is almost impossible, they will stay home.

I agree its a great law but if the other states dont do the same they will just move to another state that doesn't have the law.

Thats a great law, but I'd bet the immigrants are just leaving AZ and heading to another state without that law. Other states should adopt the same law. Of course, if we can get the flat tax where all goods have a federal tax on them, then illegal immigrants won't matter as much since they would be paying taxes as well.

LOL! Arizona may have a good idea, but I think the illegals will just go to another state, like Texas. Until there is some effort by employers nothing much will change.

I think that's the right thing to do - take care of the legal ones and get rid of the illegal ones. Let's just hope that other states will also adopt this measure.

Sounds easy, but then all these large businesses will just move their operations across the boarder where they can get the cheap labor without the hassles.

I heard another state has even stricter laws concerning illegals including laws against renting or selling anything to them.
I'm all for the strictest laws possible. I have no qualms against people coming into the country, but do it the right way.
