What are the the different types of rejections a person faces in the journey of life, which ones are the most affecting to us and how.
Rejection in one's own family, or love life,or in the process of marriage, or in friends, in official environment, personal health etc,

Well depression is common in this busy world..though its bitter fact. So dont take it emotional to heart and try to come out of the past. Please dont give up confidence. Do yoga, you will feel a great heal and confidence. God bless you
friend! Things will be better soon, dont give up.

I believe it is how we perceive ourselves that causes most of our problems,Only we know all the little and big flaws in ourselves, but we in fact think that those very flaws are written across our forehead. And so when a person doesn't connect to us immediately we believe it is because of something we said/did/are. And if you are to look at your own perception we find fault frequently because we judge others by our standard and may pass them by because they do not fit.
If we were to learn to not take our perceived rejection as personal then we would have far less problems. In other words I am me and if I don't meet or exceed your expectations I do not care as I am quite happy with me.Flaws and all.

Rejection by friends,
Rejection by girl friend
Rejection by parents
Rejection by prospective employers
Rejection by other members of the family
If married rejection by children, wife etc.
Societal rejection is not applicable, but society is so big, it cannot take a collective decision like olden days.

Very Good discussion Sang!
On 'Rejection' a whole book can be written. The fear of 'rejection' by anyone is the most dreaded one. No one wants to be 'rejecte' at any stage of life. Even a child does not feel happy when he is 'rejected'. Also, in a husband wife relationship...if any of the partner gives the feeling to other, that other is being 'rejected'...nothing can be more painful than that.
Rejection do take place, when people fall in 'love'. They do not want to be rejected and try their best to prove themselves. I think, we should be bold enough to face the 'rejection'.

Hi Dear friend
when life goes on then all sorts of event took place in ones life
acceptance, rejection, appraisal, criticism are part of Life,
I think any rejection in which oneself(ego/personality)is involved , is most affecting, as its negating ur personality. either its love life, family life or professional life.
Take care

The day you discover nobody loves you, thats the day your world will collapse and you will plung into depression-we all need to be loved not rejected, the family is the beginning and the final place you will ever be-the moment you get rejected there then the spells doom to your own life!
