Yea. The Wizard Of Oz. Just like Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow and the Lion. Toto too. If you could go on a journey to see the wizard, what would you ask him when you got there?

In all seriousness I have sat down - on many occasions - to write out the one question I would like to have answered, only to find that by the time I got the question properly and effectively worded, I realized I already knew the answer. I went to have my cards read by a woman in a metaphysical bookshop whose card said she was a priestess of Avalon. Well, my name is Avalon, and I am very much interested in the myths (and mists) of Avalon, so I really wanted her to read my cards. She wouldn't do it. She refused to take my money and told me that there wasn't anything she could tell me that I didn't already know. I was like "Ummm, I beg to differ!" Maybe that physic knew what she was talking about after all. Actually, I rather like this being my own wizard! Not only that I can grant myself more than one wish. Man, what a glorious new day! I think I'm gonna get a pair of ruby red dancing shoes and tap-dance my way through life!

Very interesting Avalon. I would like to know too. I wonder why she wouldn't read you though. How odd. Telling you there isn't anything you don't already know - duh,,,,, There's a lot of orders for ruby shoes.

I believe we are all born with the intuition. It's up to us to recognize it and utilize it. We are told early on by everyone that we don't see, we don't know, we can't, we won't, and such other negative things like that, that we soon beleive we can't ourselves. It's not a popular thing to be 'in tune' so we start believing everyone and believe them when they say we can't, we don't, oh no you shouldn't......until we believe it ourselves or eventually tell ourselves we have grown out of it. It's like a muscle, use it or loose it. I recognized my gift when I was very young. When people tell me I can't, that's enough for me to prove to them, "Oh yes I can". So I've kept it and developed it through the years. I learned how to control it and call upon it when I wanted it. It wasn't always like that though. Like anything else, takes training. You soon find you don't need cards or boards or anything else. It's just there.

Yeah, I share your belief that we are all 'psychic'. We are vibrational beings probably more than we are physical. And so many of us are 'brainwashed' away from our intuitive faculty - our inner guidance - with stuff like 'Oh, that's just your imagination', and 'stop living in a dream world, face reality', etc. I also believe though, that the water signs, particularly Pisces, tend to emphasize intuition and that sort of thing. And there is no longer any doubt in my mind that I am an empath. It has been very difficult for me to be around other people because of my tendency to take on their stuff as my own. I'm only just now learning how to distinguish between my own thoughts and feelings and those of others... and oohhh what a relief it is!!!

You have the desire and drive to be there momma. I know you will get where you want to be with as much tenacity as you have. Finding the niche' is one of the best parts of it all.

How bout some new lungs? He can do hearts, surely he can do lungs too? *laughs* :P Actually, other than stuff related to my health, I can't think of much I would want a wizard to give me. Most of what I need in my life I prefer to work for and create myself. Call me old-fashioned if you like, but I appreciate things more that way!

Surely he can do new lungs lecanis. It's always nice to know you put forth the effort yourself to have the things you have. Another good character trait. You have a bunch of them.

I would ask the Wizard for a new home. Our house is busting at the seams with hubby and I, 6 boys, a grandma who has moved in, a dog, and a cat.

To buy a car so I dont have to follow the yellow brick road the cobblestones hurt my feet, I would tell him to kill his own witch, and can I have a ruby ring instead of ruby slippers.
