I think I clogged the drain!

I just shaved my legs for the first time in two months. I try not to shave very often unless I have to for like wearing dresses or shorts because my legs don't like to be shaved all the time. They tend to get real rough and break out if I shave everyday. So for the most part I don't shave during the winter so I can give my legs a break a make sure they will look good come Summer and Bikini time. Some people would think that's gross however I'm sure there must be other woman who do the same. My husband is real good about it. He doesn't care as long as nobody sees. Except this time I finally shaved because he made a comment on how I was starting to look like a chea pet. So my question is women... Do you shave everyday or only when they are going to show? Anyone else do what I do and go wild for the winter? For the men... Does it bother you if your girlfriend/wife doesn't shave?

AMEN! I thought I was the only one! I don't shave unless it's summer! I just shaved about three days ago and boy I hated it. I find it stupid, really to shave everyday. And my legs do too. They get dry and itchy and rough if i shave alot. My husband doesn't care as long as i keep them covered up in public, but that's just for my being so i don't get embarrassed.

I have the dry skin problem too. Lotion with shea butter works better than anything else I've tried.

I am the husband :) And yeah, I don't really care. I try not to let her get too embarrassed though :) haha But I do make her clean the tub when she gets done so that she doesn't clog the drain.

I don't remember the last time I shaved lol. I don't get very hairyanyway so it's not a big deal. Pretty much from the knees up I only get some light colored fuzz...even after months of not shaving at all. My worst spot is around my ankles where I get some thick dark hair but even that is really sparse. I'll take a razor to those spots once a month or so.

I shave when my husband comments that my legs look like his. So I might shave every 4 or 5 months. I wear jeans to work and don't wear shorts during the summer. Unless I decide to wear shorts or god forbid a short dress, I don't worry about my legs.

I am a man and i can say it would kinda bother me if my girlfriend didnt shave her legs often. What I mean is, if the hair start to appear, and especially if they are dark, thats not very good view. However i can show understanding on these things, furthermore i can say it must be tiring or boring to shave too often. So, I guess it depends on the situation

Well, I hate to shave, even in the summer, but with my occupation, I generally have to wear jeans all the time, so if I want to skip a day or two, not a problem. BUT, my husband and I have an agreement. If I don't shave, he don't shave. Meaning, he'll let his facial hair go until I shave. I usually break down before he does, mainly because I find the hair itchy, even in winter. Recently I tried the emoji hair remover. It takes some getting used to, but, I have to say, I can go three to four weeks without shaving. I've tried waxing, but it's too expensive to do in a shop, and too painfull for me to do at home. With this hair remover, it basically plucks the hairs, but very quickly. It works like a bunch of tweezers on a roller. Like I said, it takes some getting used to, but it works great. I even use it on my bikini line now and I don't have to worry about those unsightly hairs either.

I don't shave my legs all the time. If I get chance to have a long soak, I'll do it then but generally, I get 20 minutes in the bath and that includes 10 minutes it takes to fill it up! I don't really see a lot of point shaving if it's not going to be showing. My partner doesn't seem to notice whether I shave or not and no one else needs to know! I prefer not to shave if I don't have to. I wear jeans most the time anyway (summer and winter!) so really, I only even shave in the summer because my legs would get sweaty otherwise. Then, I'll shave them if I want to wear skirts or anything. I remember when I first started shaving my legs, I had thick black hair and I was desperate to get rid of it. The problem with that was, I was only 12 and my mum didn't want me to start shaving! My legs have never been that bad since. That is very uncomfortable but, I think, as long as you're comfortable with it then it doesn't really matter how often you shave. It tends to grow back quicker and more stubbly anyway, so I'd rather have soft legs once a year than stubbly legs all year round!

I shave almost every day it just bothers me to have hairy legs but I take alot longer when I am going to show my legs and make sure that theres not a hair. I don't really go long periods of time without it, it's just about preference I think its nice of your husband not to mind so you don't have to shave everyday.

I ought to point out there is no man in my life to see my legs, lol. In the winter, I do shave less. However, when I got into my twenties, leg hair became slow in growing back. So in the summer, I shave once a week. In the winter, I shave once every two weeks. Even on those two weeks, I could wear a skirt and no one notice any hair growth. I hear a lot of women in Germany and France never shave their legs. So you won't be the only Chia pet out there, although I seriously doubt you really look like one.

Luckly, I rarely have to shave mine...the hair on my legs is very light colored and you can't even see it unless you are really looking at it. It's really hard for me to shave though b/c I'm just about blind without my glasses and I usually end up cutting myself when I try to do it without my glasses on when I'm in the shower. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I understand what you are coming from. I know that you need to give your legs a break during the winter time. And then decide to shave them during spring time. I know that you want to shave your legs every other day or so. I understand that shaving everyday can cause irritation. I am an expert on leg hairs. So when it comes summer, definitely get your legs shaved and smooth! Hey, I had a girlfriend before that I used to pick on that she had hairy legs. I picked on my oldest sister in my family about the same stuff.
