Somehow nothing quite makes you feel like its spring as flowers blooming. In temperate countries, bright yellow daffodils waving their heads herald early spring. In my tropical climate, flowers bloom all year around, but recently my new adenium desert rose plant has brought some measure of spring through it's flourishing blooms. When i bought it there were some 3-4 blooms and some 8-10 buds. Now half the buds have bloomed and the plant looks really pretty! I shall take more pictures of it soon, but here's a picture to give you an idea of how lovely the plant looks when in bloom.

Oh I think the flowers in your garden make you feel so good, especially daffodils, I planted some of them last winter and i didn't take up the bulbs so i am hoping they come up again next winter, i think they are beautiful, they bring cheer to winter.

Wow, sounds like a really nice plant to look at. I am so looking forward to some pictures. So, how long have you had the plant? Did you give it any special medication or steroids to help it come to bloom? Or just plain water and good ol' sunlight?

I haven't many flowers out at the moment as it is in the middle of summer and the poor plants are suffering from lack of water but have plenty of plants that grow and have stayed green and will flower in the next month as the weather cools down this way. All my naked lady bulbs are dorment but in Autumn they will put flowers up. They are so called as when they flower there are no leaves at all just flowers. Belladona is ther latin name so if you have plant books look that up that way you could have flowers most of the year .
