If you could meet a celebrity and have a one-on-one conversation with them who would it be?I would love to talk to Tom Hanks about his success and what drives him and what he does to make a "Hollywood Marriage" work so well.
What about you?

I would love to meet Leonardo Di Caprio because he has always been my true hero, he is such a great actor and has played some wonderful roles, he's diverse, versatile and extremely talented. I would talk with him for hours about the parts he's played in Titanic, Who's Eating Gilbert Grape and The Beach to name just a few of his wonderful films. Ok I do have a crush on him too but sadly he swings the wrong way but it would be professional rather than a stupid crush that I'd love to see him, I wouldn't be a a crazy stalker!

I have no intention to meet anyone. They are all in total different world. I spoke with one not long time ago, I god bless I don't have to do it again.

I worked in a marketing firm who dealt (at times) in Celebrities and it was my job to be the liason (hmmm wonder why that is, I can talk anyone's ear off) between them and the guys who wanted them to do the job (appearances etc...).
There are many who think that celebs are how they are on the screen and that is just not the case.
I am suprised that people like Oprah, some political candidate, or others didn't come up in this discussion. Maybe they will later.
Some people I met were like 'real people' and others were like divas (Mariah comes to mind there). Like you say there are some people you just don't want to meet again.

Oh wow...good question..there are so many LOL....but here are a few and the whys (in no particular order)
Angelina Jolie - I'd lvoe to just sit and talk with her about life, leaving the self destructive life behind, parenting and spirituality...
Ani DiFranco - to talk about her inspirations, her music and work in Buffalo
Kat Von D - tattooing, life in general, how she copes with her fame, being a woman in a semi mans career etc
Lama Surya Das - to talk about spirituality
Maya Angelou & Tina Turner - to talk about their traumas, how they overcame them, where they are now in life and how hard was it for them to achieve all that they have..
I know there are others but I'm drawing a blank LOL....
