Have you seen the Grand Canyon?

I am reading a book now, "The Man Who Walked Through Time", about a guy who hiked the length of the Grand Canyon. Some of his observations are fascinating. I was overpowered by the majesty of the canyon the only time I have seen it. How about you?

That sounds like a really interesting book. I will definitely have to check it out sometime. I haven't been to the Grand Canyon before, but I'm going there in a couple of weeks for my honeymoon. I am really looking forward to it, as I've heard such amazing things about it.

I have had the opportunity to see the granduer of the canyon. I am however afraid of heights so it was kinda scary. If I could overcome my fears I think it would be wonderful to walk out on the glass observation point they have built....but I don't think I could do that..but it is beautiful! As is Sedona.....I never knew rock could be so beautiful!

There is a definite rush of emotion when you first see the canyon. And I agree that some of the rocks and desert are indeed beautiful.
