Do your dogs engage in a battle of wits with each other?

Cookie doesn't have the jaw strength that Gus does and she always wants his chew sticks rather than hers because he gets them started and soft at the ends where she can manage to progress from there and enjoy herself.
So she runs to me and expects me to take his away and give him hers. When that doesn't work (one of my boys did it for her once so she'll always try it first!), she'll begin barking at the window and run out the dog door so naturally Gus will follow. In come Cookie right away and grabs that chew stick! Or she'll go to the kitchen and move his empty food bowl around so he thinks there's something waiting for him then she'll get the stick! When she wins, he'll settle in with her unchewed treat and peace descends.
I just think this is funny. And they say dogs can't reason! :-)

Yes my dogs think everything is a competition. They are always stealing each others toys and chasing each other around the house. Then all the sudden they will collapse on the the big dog bed we got them together and sleep for awhile. It is so cute!
