If Jewish people are believers, then that makes them a Christian. Main word being Christ. If you are of Christ, then you will go to Heaven. Doesn't matter if your Jewish, Catholic, whatever. If you believe and have God in your heart then you will be with Him throughout eternity. When did being a Jew or anything else come in to play? The question was do you believe in the mark of the beast and armegaddon. or at least that's what i was answering. God bless

I hate to tell you this but being Jewish and being Christian are two very different things. They believe very different things, use seperate religious text, etc. Perhaps you should Google "the differences between Judaism and Christianity"

It came into play when you made the comment that all "non Christians" would be given the mark of the beast. It is those kinds of comments that turn people away from Christians and Christianity. When you make foolish comments about things you are not educated in, it causes people to doubt the substance that you are relying on in order to make such comments.

Well, I hate to tell you but i am very educated on this...thank you though for trying to point out that i was stupid. another point, not all jews believe one way. there are some Christian Jews out there. I don't judge anyone, but speak truth, so don't judge me. It says plainly in the Bible, "Those that do not come to me and accept me, will be forever condemned throughout eternity." Every religion believes in something different, but Christianity isn't a religion. It's faith and it's knowing Christ and having Him in your heart. Christianity is a faith, but it does not fold every religion into it based soley on the belief of God.

One of the "Cadinal Doctrines" of being Christian is the belief in the Trinity. While there are some Messianic Jews that have recently combined thier Jewish beliefs with Christian beliefs, original Judaism does not believe in the Trinity. Jews also view Jesus as a great moral teacher, but not as the Son of God. They also do not use the New Testament as a religious text. They only use the Torah, or Old Testament.

Some christians don't believe in a "trinity" either and it's not a word that is in the bible.. There's the Father, and there's his Son "the first born of all creation". Christianity in 2000 years has passed through many human hands.. it's lost (in my friendly opinion) some of the glory of its message.. and has picked up some baggage along the way.. what most, if not all(!) don't realize, is that no one hears those notorious words "those not believing will go to the 2nd death" (erroneously mistranslated as "hell" - highly illogical and blasphemous idea, that) until [1] they have experienced having been resurrected, and [2] they have lived through and witnessed a very, very long day of the examination of all things.. all human history, etc.. Who, after all that, isn't going to believe? God/the deity is Perfect (also Life) - the 'end' result of all this, can be nothing less, than the absolutely most perfect 'end' result possible..

Well, pre trib idea is a very recent idea. No Christians till 19th century believed in pre trib thing. And even among contemporary theologians we have only tiny fraction on people who hold onto pre trib thing. So I would not like to deviate myself from historic Christianity. Moreover, I feel dispensationalist has some serious misunderstanding of the Biblical texts.

Rapture occurs in books like Mat 24: 37, 1 The 4:15 etc. It is translated as 'coming'. The Greek word is parousia.

Matt 24:40,41 are verses many use as to what is going to happen in the end. I don't usually hear anything about Christ return but just that these people disappear and life goes on. I do remember that in the days of Babylon rule that when they overpowered Jerusalem that they did take some and left the others. I believe before anyone leaves this earth, including the dead, that Christ will come in the clouds.

Mat 24 is not basically about second coming. Jesus was talking about the destruction of the temple in 70 AD. NT biblical commentators are almost unanimous in saying that it is not about second coming. Jesus employed apocalyptic language and that's why people get confused and they think that it's about second coming. But that is not true.

Are you implying that the Pope is the Antichrist?

Popes come and Popes go just like Presidents come and go. It is the institution that these people answer to that keep going. I always felt that Satan was the Antichrist but he works through a beast to reach his means. A "beast" in prophecy represents a kingdom, a nation, a power. Daniel 7:17, 23and 24 may help to explain this.

I think that I will go to the place of lightness, heaven...or whatever it is; wherever it is. I am ready, don't know if it will happen in my lifetime on earth or not.
