 Hello there everyone. I was really active on here about 10 months ago, and then I sort of just disappeared. Really for several reasons. The biggest probably being that my son is a full fledged toddler these days, and keeps me beyond busy.:-) Also there was a move, and short lived attempt at going back to work outside the house, and a multitude of other things. But I have inadvertently stumbled back, and after a much needed break, I am all rested up and ready to ramble on here a bit more. I had forgotten just how therapeutic it could be to come on here and share opinions, read discussions, and just generally see where the mouse clicks take you. It is a nice creative outlet. Anyway, just a quick note to say hello.

| 4. stephcjh (13690) | 8 months ago |  Welcome back. Good to see you again. I was away for about 6 months from Mylot and just came back here in January of 2008. I was awy for alot of reasons also. I have to earn online and was working with several other sites. I recently decided to try to come back and visit Mylot also while still working with those. It is very time consuming though. I bet your toddler does keep you very busy LOL. I really like it here at Mylot too and I am very glad to be able to work it into my daily schedule again.

And yes, my son does keep me quite busy. But he is starting to get a little burst of independence, so for those quiet moments when he is occupied with Diego, or coloring I think I will steal a few minutes to myself on here. | |

I went back to work after my son was 6 months old didn't work out to good because of the hours I worked .So after he got into school I went back to work again and it worked out better for me . But now I am not working just around on the farm off and on, I hurt my back some years ago and I just have to watch what I do . But maybe later on as your son gets older you might want to try again . But I would'nt rush it enjoy your little one . They grow up so fast .

| moonmagick (661) | 8 months ago | I waited until he was 1 year old. And I even did a "work at home" thing. But total silence was needed, so I ended up having to put him in daycare anyway. And the hours were more of an evening time thing, so someone else was feeding him dinner and by the time I picked him up, he was exhausted, cranky, and just miserable. It made me so sad. And then he started getting sick constantly, and that was just the final straw. I think I will probably try again once he is school age. But for right now, I am just going to do the best I can to stay home with him for as long as possible. You are so right, they do grow up so quickly. I marvel at how "grown up" he has become every day. | |

It does take your mind off the daily humdrum of existence…the home, the hubby, the kid, the job whatever and it refreshes you to know that there are people around the world who share similar difficulties, if not more, and their undying spirit kind of eggs me on.
