Should I sell Silpada jewelry on ebay? Have you ever heard of it?  

To begin, ctry, I have absolutely no experience with ebay. My advice to you, however, is to maybe try it on a limited basis. If you could possibly contract with her to do a few pieces then you would get an idea of how well they will sell. That way you won't be obligated if the items don't sell well.

I have never heard of this kind of jewelry. I don't know what to tell you about selling it on ebay. If the jewelry is junk and you are the seller, then you could get a bad report from a buyer, right? I would beware and maybe sell stuff you know more about. What do you think? A reputation is hard to come by and one or two bad sales could cause you to have a poor rep...so I would be careful myself, if I were you.

I haven't heard of it, but if you are researching and seeing a lot of bad reviews, I'd not take the chance. Something like that I'd want to handle and see with my own eyes first.

I have just googled it too and the pictures that I saw of the jewelry are lovely, and are something that I would wear myself. It definitely didnt look gaudy!!! But hey, each to their own.... If you like it and think others will like it then go for it. Try a couple of pieces and if it doesnt sell then leave it.... :-)

I guess it is one of those "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" type of situations. Do you actaully get to handle the pieces and photograph them yourself before posting them? then you would have a chance to evaluate it yourself.
I think I would try a few pieces and see how it does. As long as you have good pictures and an accurate description of the jewelry (type of metal, stones, etc) I don't think anyone could fault you for selling it.

I never heard of Silpada Jewely. I don't understand why would this individual want you to sell it when she can sell it herself. I guess I am a little to distrusting. I probably would not sell it without a lot of research on this product and the Jewelry Rep.

I have never heard of Silpada jewlery but it is always worht a try. Somethings will sell well and some wont and there is only one way to find out. There was a time where anything would sell on Ebay but I think thoes days are gone.

I have never heard of them. I will say this one or two auctions from her stuff won't hurt you. It would get you a different market of buyers as well. I am going to check the site. I would love to sell that on etsy as home made if possible.

I have never heard of it myself. I can just say go with your gut instincts. I considered doing what you are doing several years ago - but I would have too many restrictions as to the content of what is being sold that I am afraid many people would not be interested in going through me.

I did sell a rolling pin for a friend though - and it sold for 1140.11 can you believe it? she gave me the listing and final value fees plus 10% - so not too bad for my few minutes of effort, eh?

I've heard of Silpada before. They're a direct selling company (like Avon is). A lot of people are probably already selling this stuff on eBay, so it would be hard to make much of a profit off of it. That happens with a lot of direct selling companies.
