American Gangster

I haven't seen it, because it just didn't seem like the sort of movie that would appeal to me. Sounds like I'm not missing much, though. :)

OK ,if you would prefer watch some cartoons instead of GOOD MOVIES so go watch cartoon network or Disney channel ,maybe you don't grow up to these kinds of movies. This is really amazing story about Blackman ,which haven't law to become that person which he had become.And if you don't know its based on TRUE STORY ,Denzel acted the best in this movie in my opinion ,his manner was like real gangster. Always calm, judicious, take care about his business and family. This move shows many things episode with policeman who isn't corrupted,although he have problems with family.Next Frank and his life as a driver ,who finally have found a way to reach the success in hopeless, poor live between of another Italy, White bosses . I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE TO EVERYONE !

I was sure you had posted a discussion about this move so I searched and found it because I agree with you. I thought it was a terribly boring movie. Much as I like all Denzel movies I could only watch this one for a short time and believe me I do not give up easily but in short to me this movied sucked!

I usually don't respond to these for fear of a - on my reputation but on this I have to TOTALLY disagree. The movie was one of the most engrosing movies that has ever been told and I was highly pleased by both the acting of Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe. The movie reminded me of "Catch Me if You Can" with Leo & Hanks. Both movies were based on true stories.... Sorry you didn't like it Zelo

I also have to disagree on this. I thought it was an awesome movie! The acting and the story were nothing less than perfect. I do agree it was long but a lot of the best ones are long. It's a true story and after reading about it I believe they did a great job of it!

Couldn't disagree with you more. I found it very interesting, engaging, and two excellent performances by Denzel Washington and Russel Crowe. I thought it was one of the best movies of last year. Was there something in particular you didn't like about it?
