Nature Exposes Al Gore's Fraud... |
| |
| In his "documentary", "An Inconvenient Truth", Al Gore showed a graph. Using this graph, he hoped to show some kind of causal relationship between CO2 emissions and global warming. At the end of the segment, he mounted a scissor lift and showed the next 50 years... According to his "graph" the global temperature is going to do nothing but rise. It has only been two years since introduced his Articles of Faith in Global Warming to the world. Two years later, Mother Nature is laughing in Gore's face.. along with the rest of us. Instead of the steep and steady rise in temperature, 2008 has seen a drop in average temperature of up to .75C. That's almost the same as the rise, over the last century that the Priest of Global Warmingism point to as "evidence" to back their religion. Some will point out, the term 'global wareming is no longer operable. It is now "global climate change". They are right... at least as far as terminology goes. However, Al Gore (their exalted prophet) warned us of 50 years of increased termperatures. Don't we stone false prophets? http://www.dailytech.com/... | | | | | |

| | Only thing I don't like about the article they aren't addressing the melting ice caps issue. From the very limited knowledge I have on global warming (just from word of mouth) is that is causes extremes not necessarily only warmer temperatures but I do admit I know very little on the specifics of global warming. I do think we need to tread a little nicer on our environment than we currently do but I do not like Al Gore at all. I saw something on tv about him making an unpatriotic statement (about America) in a foreign country after he won the Nobel but I haven't been able to locate the quote online. | | | | | | |

| | yea i dont like all these algore fanboys.. but i have a feeling that global warming is true because scientists were discussing it before it became wrapped up in political bs... and the sollutions that they have for saving the environment, whether or not global warming is true, is idiotic.. increasing state powers, stopping free market, etc etc. | | | | | | |

| | Yup, the scientists can't agree on whether it's happening or not... and the only thing the left can agree on is that our rights must be the problem, because losing them seems to be the solution. | | | |

| | The earth has been cooling since the 1998 el-nino ended. As far as record highs, the revised NASA data put it in the 1930's somewhere, so the temperature hadn't really been going up at all. In 2003 there was like a 3 degree drop in the temperature that year. CO 2 has very little impact on the climate as the biggest factors are the sun and water vapor. The man made global warming hoax is nothing more than an attempt by Al Gore to make a whole lot of money off of Carbon Credits, and the UN is hoping to become world dictator by passing all of those international environmental laws and then assessing fees and fines to participants and who they view as polluters. Our government is hoping to raise a lot of taxes by passing their environmental and climate change prevention legislation, and the scientists are hoping for large grants to continue their "research" on this manufactured and non-existent problem. From some of the articles I have seen in the last few months, the climate change we should be concerned about is a cooling driven by reduced sunspot activity. Either way, a lot of people have bought into this hoax and have deluded themselves into thinking that man can control the weather. We can't even forecast it, let alone even think to control it. All you have to do is follow the money and you find both the cause and the culprits. | | | | | | |

| | There have been several discussions on mylot pointing out Al Gore and company for whats really there. And even some responses/discussions point out errors in the findings and also important errors in the movies (even schoolchildren could pick up on at least a couple of the errors... well if not taught by stateside education systems -_-) Even if people still aren't convinced on the topic of warming (or lack of), there's still a more underhanded and sham-like debate going on. If you aren't with Goreacle, you are [insert any sham you want here]. If you question Goreacle, [again insert any sham here]. If you bring up valid or reasonable facts that raise other questions, [insert yet another sham because the debate is "over" -_-] | | | | | | |

| | All hope is not lost. My son's physics teacher brought it to class. The teacher hadn't seen it yet either. The plan was to watch the film then discuss the science behind it. They agreed that there wasn't enough science in it to discuss. | | | |

| | B-b-b-b-but the poor polar bear! ;p I thought that An Incovenient Truth was a very uh... interesting movie, yet it missed the point by trying too hard to scare people into action. I don't know, or claim to know, enough about climate change to make a definitive point one way or the other, but I can throw up a few thoughts. Whether or not global warming exists should not be the only reason to seek cleaner and more efficient ways of manufacturing, energy production and other uses of the resources we have. You have said it yourself: We aren't really able to forecast the weather; moreover, who is to say that one year can refute a theory? Come now... We can wait and see, but in the meantime perhaps a little bit of responsibility won't hurt. Do we really have a need for negative reinforcement? | | | | | | |

| | Cleaner, more efficient energy is a good idea... even without the scare tactics. The thing is, the "eco" crowd have yet to show us a cleaner, more efficient energy source that is feasible. | | | |

| | Well there is almost nobody who can predict future correctly expect the "God" himself. Prediction will always be there some may be right and some will always be wrong. Because human is not a God who makes future. If humans can predict future correctly then they will start calling themselves as God. So there has to be some distinction between God and Human. Thanks for reading my response. Goodbye | | | | | | |

| | If we were Muslim we probably would resort to stoning.( let him who is without sin throw the first stone!) I think Al was thinking more about his bottom line than about Mother Nature. Its sad that America is going to the Dogs. Never mind the bulls and bears! Aren't you glad Bush's Oil Money got Him elected? Imagine America after 8 years of Good Ole President Gore? | | | | | | |

| | Oh really. It has been a few hundred years since Christians stoned people for what they considered offenses against their God. So if you had of specified that, you would have been right. Muslim nations are stoning people for offenses today. Offenses like women showing their ankles. Women driving, and children getting raped by a man. I'll take back the "bigot" and "hate group" comment. In the light of your explanation, it was uncalled for. I apologize. In the light of reality, I do think your comparison is wrong though. | | | |

| | Are you really sure about you motive here? The world is really getting crazy and we have a lot of events going on on South America like huge waves and tremors. On Asia there are earthquakes and change of weather and it´s all because we, humankind, are detroying our own environment. It really doesn´t matter to me if was Al Gore or Michael Jackson that stood against it, but it´s already a good thing that we have people thiking about it, instead of being against like USA who stay againt projects like Kyoto. Do you really think it´s all going well with the world? | | | | | | |
ParaTed2k (6340)

| | 1: There is not one point in Kyoto would change anything that is happening. 2: Yes, there are things going on with the environment, but there are changes happening with almost every planet in our solar system. Unless you are going to try to make the point that Man is affecting the environment on Mars, you have no point at all. | | | |

| | I´m sorry but what are you talking about? Our planet is dying each and every day for problems that WE created!! Because of a factory that WE created, because of powerplants that WE created, because of the garbage that WE made. There A LOT of points in Kyoto project that WOULD change a great part of our problems with CO2 and others causes that make the atmosfere warmer!! And who talked about MARS or UNIVERSE? IT´S OUR WORLD! This aren´t common problems! This are problems created by us and by people that think like you and prefer to stand and criticize. | | | |

| | Kyoto doesn't require China and India to reduce their carbon emissions (and they are two of the biggest problems), so how does it help? If the same changes are happening to other planets, it shows that the changes aren't manmade. | | | |

| | No matter what your opinion is about Al Gore, global warming is a fact. I think the debate is over. The world's scientists have to come to an overwhelming consensus that it's real. If people don't believe it, they will approach it the same way that the 9/11 conspiracy theorists do, they will continue to search for only the information that supports their theories. | | | | | | |
ParaTed2k (6340)
|
| | 1: Science isn't about concensus, it's about following the evidence whereever it leads. 2: No, scientists aren't in agreement.. not even Meteorologists. 3: When a scientist openly questions human causes for global warming, they are attacked personally and professionally, but rarely is the subject debated scientifically. Those three facts show that global warming is a political issue much more than a scientific one. | | | |
