My husband took me shopping to Walmart, he was buying himself some jeans for work. They had jeans on sale for $12.00 a pair and he bought himself 2 pairs for work. Because they were so cheap he said if I wanted any he would buy them for me, so I grabbed two pairs as well. I wear men's jeans because I am thick waisted and small hipped so the women's jeans don't fir me properly because to get them to fit my waist they are way too big on my hips.
We then went to Warehouse One to get him a good pair of jeans, not work jeans, and they had a huge sale on there. He bought two pairs of jeans for $49.95 and their regular price for them was $80 each. So that would have been $160.00 for two, at regular price.
Then I saw some jeans on a clearance rack and they were marked down to $5.00 a pair, from $60.00 I showed my husband this so he told me to look for my size and since I found two that were my size he bought me both pairs.
Now I am so happy because I got 4 new pairs of jeans and only for $34.00 in total. What a deal that is!!Have you gotten any really good deals like this recently? And if so, would you have bought more if they had your size?

I shop in primark in the UK always cheap anyway but sometimes they have a sale rail where everything is even cheaper. I've bought some really nice tops in there. But this particualr day there was a bright green fleece and at the moment i'm really into that colour. So i bought it and got it home, that particualr evening it was really cold so i wore it out to my meeting and it was so warm i decided to go back and see if they had any more. But they did not for a £1 but i found some for £4 still a bargain. My mum laughs as it's been a bit cold she has had trouble getting it off my back even to wash it.

That is a very good deal! Usually this type of deals do not happen until the Christmas season or back-to-school or some other major holiday. My local Walmart do not even have jeans that cost $12.00 a pair. Well, the jeans for little kids do, but adult jeans cost a minimum of $19.95 in my area. To answer the real questions of this discussion, I have not gotten any good deals like this recently. The best deal I got, was not on a pair of jeans or clothing of any type. It was on a flash drive. I got a 4 GB flash drive for $12.95, when it used to be $59.95.

I just bought a nice pair of Jeans at walmart for $8.87 I couldn't believe it. The label says," Faded Glory~ Original." Everytime I wear these pants I'm wondering where and how they were made. What Poverty Stricken woman sewed these seams? How could these Jeans have been made for this low price? It must have been in a sweat-shop and maybe young kids were employed there. Only God knows and She isn't telling!

Hi being a stay at home of 4 kids 5 and under my husband and I are always looking for deals. We buy for the two oldest mostly, a girl and a boy, our other two are smaller girls and will get hand me downs mostly. We get amazing deals for them sometimes. In fact we already have summer clothes bought for them last year at the end of the season and we just went shopping and got some incredible deals. Winter boots for $2! Brand new, Cars ones. Shoes, $2. Zip up sweaters, $2. Long sleeved liceanced print shirts such as Diego, Spiderman, $2. And the list goes on.

I needed some new trainers, because I do a lot of walking, and my old trainers were starting to hurt me and they look soooo scruffy, I hate buying clothes, especially shoes, so I have to go alone and get it over and done with! Typical bloke I think! Anyhow I went into this sports store in town and saw these neat trainers, no fashionable name but they had a 70% sale price on them and I thought, made for me, what a bargain. I saved a fortune on them and they are very very comfortable indeed! They have hoodies in there as well 70% I love Nike but I can't afford the prices but with the sale I couldn't resist.

It's good for you, You save a lot from there. If I had a chance on buying it I will but I rather buy T-shirt than pants. I have many pants and short of T-shirt.

Last June my mum gave me a voucher for my birthday for a high street shop. I went in not long after but saw nothing that took my fancy and so I just put the voucher in my bag. Yesterday we went to see my mum, she owns a little teashop so we saw her and had a little treat for dinner while we were there which I love because I get 50% discount too! Well we came out and I saw the shop where I could spend my voucher and so I just popped in on the off chance that they might have something nice. I desperately needed some tops and the voucher was for £20.00 and I didnt think I would get much for that but had a few extra pounds on me just in case, but luckily for me they had a sale on and I managed to get 4 fantastic tops for £5.00 each! All marked down from £20.00, so I did really well and managed not to spend any extra money! So all in all I had a pretty good day.

I LOVE sales like this! I have gotten some good ones, I once bought a pair of 50$ jeans for about 15$. They were on clearence for 25$ and then rang in for less, I am not sure how much exactly I think it might have been around 18$, and then were a percentage off on top of that they were 20% off. So they ended up being really cheap. I have also bought screan printed t-shirt that were 3/10$ which is an incredible deal because they are usually about 20$ each.

That is awesome- I love finding deals like that!! I got some good deals on clothes recently, but the best deal I've found lately was a $225 electric blanket for $50.

That is a good deal. I will never pay more than $10 for a pair of jeans...it is starting to get harder and harder to do this - even the thrift store is getting expensive these days!

Wow, you got some great deals there. $5 for jeans that were $60? That's amazing!
I haven't got any great deals lately, but then I've not been looking either. I don't venture far from home much so really have no need of new clothes (and can't afford them 'just because').
