Do you hate mosquitoes?  

I hate them with a fiery passion...Nough said!!!

LOL my Lord. I don't necessarily hate them, but I would prefer that they leave me alone hehehehe
We're lucky in here in that all windows have screens so there aren't many mosquitoes coming in, but when I go camping I could go on a raging massacre of them mosquitoes LOL
I mean all living things have a right to leave but not using my blood :)
I had one of those sonic wave thingies in my site when we had our trailer. I wasn't too impressed, but maybe it was only me.
SInce I don't really have mosquitoes inside that much, my counterstrike plans are usually citronella candles that seem to work even better than the sonic thing.
Now for indoors I'm not really sure. Although the lizzards seem like a good idea if one can stand them. I remembered when we lived in Brazil there were some on the walls and ceiling and they were see trough. They used to eat most mosquitoes though but I didn't like the thought of going to sleep with those things loose in my room. Maybe if the lizards can be caged? Maybe not too good for lizard's rights, but sure a peace of mind for me LOL

If you take a vitamin B complex you wont get bitten anymore. I've been taking this now for 10 years or better. Ever since I read up on the B complex, the mosquitos, hate the smell of it..try it you'll see no bites...Lori

You know, I always have this impression that Singapore is free of those pestering mosquitoes.:P Mosquitoes are a no-no to me. They are one of the sources that triggered my allergy.

I have screens installed on my windows and doors. I also make sure that my house is always squeaky clean. I don't find that sonic thingy you mentioned effective in repelling the mosquitoes.

A friend suggested using a perfumed incense sticks. You can choose the citronella or citrus scent and my friend swore by its effectiveness in driving away mosquitoes.

What I use is real easy to get ahold of and it works
Either an Avon product called skin so soft (comes in a pump spray bottle just spray on and go) or a product by the OFF company called Off Skintastic
Both work great AND the make your skin really soft

Oh i hate those little blood suckers we live in country and they just eat us a live.I have tried every thing i dont like putting those repellents on the grand-kids and the candles work if you are sitting right on top of them.I have heard that some kind of plant you can plant that is suppose to repel them but i dont have a clue what it is.I just stay in the house most of the time.

I really, really, really dislike mosquitos (I would say hate, but my husband hates it when I use the word hate ;P ) Those things eat me alive. We some out now and we are not sure where they are coming from because our neighbor has actually kept her pool clean this winter. I usually just rub anti-itch cream on after I get bit. I have used those cinterlla (sp) candles - they're okay. I heard that the B complex works extremely well, but I am not very good at taking pills. I also heard if you eat a lot of garlic they will leave you alone, but every one else will probably leave you alone too!

Yes, I hate mosquitoes and fortunately it isn't the time for them here, still too cold..

But I did have a lot of home remedies I use, you can pick or choose which works best..
1. eat a lot of garlic, mosquitoes hate garlic in their blood..lol

2. Avons skin so soft, both lotion and oil repels mosquitoes

3. Used fabric softener sheets. Just tie one around your belt loop or any other place you can tie one

4. for the outdoors, if you can. start a fire, they hate smoke and if you can stand it, get the smoky smell on you, they don't like it..

Haha... everybody's answer to this will be "I Hate Them Toooo"... If mosquito was a pet animal... oops pet insect, then the chances were more that ppl loved it. LoL

I hate them too. but luckily no mosquitoes in my house... A clean house u know ;)
But during summer, sometimes there are mosquitoes. We use the mosquito net or the spray to get rid of them :)

I loathe mosquitoes. The best way I find to repel them, (bearing in mind we only have little ones in my country), is to burn citronella candles. They will deter them. To keep them off your actual body, prepare your own herbal repellent, which you can rub on your skin, by mixing together 2 ounces witch hazel extract and 60 drops citronella essential for a 5% dilution, or 2 ounces witch hazel extract and 120 drops citronella for a 10% dilution. I guess the stronger one would be better for you.
