Clients of The Right One are angry about high-pressure sales tactics, broken promises and an inability to get their money back despite heartbreaking circumstances. Three months after a woman joined The Right One, her son committed suicide. All she could do was cry and she felt she had nothing to give dating. She thought there wouldn't be a problem and never expected the answer she got. She showed her son's death certificate to The Right One, which, she said, refused to refund her money. To have to deal with son's death and then struggle with that, was like, what is wrong with those people? There are other stories just like this one and the state of MA is thinking about regulating dating services. I'm not sure how they would go about it but to pay over $1,000 and not be able to get a refund when you have good reason doesn't seem like good customer service. You can read other stories like this one at : http://www.thebostonchannel.com/investigative/15431240/detail.html What do you think...do these people deserve a refund in these circumstances?

Need to be regulated - so that the good of people are cared for instead of being taken advantage of.
That's horrible what happened to that poor lady and her son!! And a sad shame this dating service is making it so hard and harder still. I hope the government does something to regulate their services in such a way that no one has to go through what this poor lady did. How they'll do it might surprise us....

I can believe this. Although I believe ion dating services both online & in person, I know there are many who rip people off. Men in particular are ripped off. If anyone wants to join a dating service they must really look into which one to join, & only go for those who charge, say, a monthly fee, or it could just a be one fee, one contact arrangement. I agree that the client you mentioned should be entitled to a partial refund.
