Dreams for you children

When my son was a baby, I wanted him to get a university education and secretly I wanted him to become an astronaut, though I would never tell him that was what I wanted him to do because in the end it was his choice to make.
My son never went to university and that disappointed me, but that was again his choice to make.
do you have dreams for your children if so what are they and are they old enough yet to fulfill them, if so did they?

i don't know if i have had dreams like that for my children. there are things that i expect, and i guess the only dreams I have for them is to be happy. Do i want them to go to college, sure, but that is not my dream for them. I only want to support the dreams they have for themselves. As i sit here I can honestly say that i never had those kinds of dreams for my children. I just want them to dream their own dreams

My son is barely 2 months old, but i do have dreams for him already. First and foremost, i hope he will be healthy his whole life and only die of old age. Secondly, i wish for him to find true love, as i have, and to grow old with that woman, and have as many children as their hearts desire. And finally, i wish for him to work, doesn't matter which field, as long as it's legal, but to do a job/career that he likes, and that pays him well enough to live well, not rich, but not poor either. If he ends up living rich, better for him!!

I want my daughter to go to college also but it is her choice and she really isn't interested in it, but sure wish she was. she has mentioned that she may want to go to a beuty college though so she can learn how to do hair and nails. I think that would be good for her. She likes things like that but I am not sure if she will actually do it when the time comes.
I think i would be happy with that.

All I wanted for my children is to be successful in whatever they chose to do..I have a daughter that is a truck driver...I do wish that she had chosen something else to do..I am so worried when she is out on the road. The good news is she is out there with her husband and not by herself..
Kids have their dreams of what they want to do when they young up but sometimes it never works out...Her dream was to work has an interior designer...And she went to school for this but can't get a job in this field..
My other daughter wanted to be a professional poolplayer...LOL...My two sons want to own their own auto/body shop...So we will see what happens when they graduate...
