love, its a complex thing and the heart is a deceitful organ in our body. I am not really good when it coems to the matters of the heart but I know as the center organ of our body i makes our lives miserable if we try to make it the lord of our lives.
I have fallen in love with the thought of being in love many times and now Im back to that point in my life. Its really wierd, i dont know what you call this feeling but as I try to retrospect and try to understand it, i have identified it as infatuation. Well i dont know if they ever have a term infatuation at the age of 32. HEHEHEHE
Sigh! I have a heavy heart the past few days, thats also I took the days off from work to get away escape and ran away. I know this will soon fade in time and I will have to be patient in deealing with it.

I don't think it's unnatural for a person to (easily) fall in love.. what I think of as unnatural is how life seems to be these days.. To me, women were 'sold a bill of goods' as the saying goes, and now so many seem to have to settle for a series of relationships and raising their children alone.. Funny thing is, in the long run, I don't think men end up any happier either.. So I guess they were sold a bill of goods too.

Good morning, zelmarq. There is no age limit as far as infatuation is concerned. So long as we are single, we may have the desire to fall in love with the one that drives us crazy. But if you insist on your pursue, it will never fade. Instead you will be a success. May you succeed in this very thought of your being in love to make it realistic in life!

Being in love feels a lot stronger than just a usual crush or infatuation. Being in love comes from the heart, being infatuated or having a crush comes from the mind and imagination. If no matter what a person does and you still feel them in your heart and are willing to help them with anything in any way and be there for them, it's love. If you have a crush and dream of being with this person, yet are not certain what that person is like or are running from that person, it's only infatuation. If all you think of is intimacy with this person it's lust.

Its infatutaion, a thing that will fade in time and will be forgotten. Its good to be careful with emotions for our heart is such a delicate thing to mes up with and its a matter of letting the mind rule over the heart coz its always the case. Soon we will realize its just a fleeting moment and its gone.

Infatuation is different with love I think. Some people do mistake love with falling in love. When you fall in love, your body reacts differently to that person, you have that high feeling, your body release a certain hormone that makes you happy, goofy and smiley all the time. This may also be the same cases for infatuation.
However as for Loving someone, the WOW feeling is not always there, the happy feeling started to fade away. Sometimes, you look at him and you dont think happy thought anymore. For me, Falling in Love is something natural, something that happens without any reason... something that takes my by surprise. But being in love or loving someone, takes hard work, it takes commitment. It means that even when problem came, even when in certain times you feel like you hate that person etc... I still stay with him, and work out our difference and commit to our relationship.

Well, its just a feeling that would soon fade since its not the person that we fall in love with but the feeling and the thought of being in love. Its a nice feeling and a great one thats why even just the thought of being in love is also a great feeling. I will be able to make it through this trial in my life.

Its great that we have God's word to cling to coz its the only thing we can depend on. Theres no other love that can compare but God's love. Its really a struggle, a daily struggle and its one of the human heart's weakness. I thought I have given it up, but its like a sickness that will affet you if you let it get into your system.

Well, love is really something complicated. I am 20 and have been through what you talked about. And a lot of my friends who lost their love came to me for talking which makes me feel even more confused about love. Now I don't enen quite sure what love means to us. Maybe because "the one" has not turn out yet.
You remind me of one sentence: your head know exactly what to make things better, but your heart prevent you from doing so. Sometimes, women still need to learn to use the head, not the heart.
Anyway, time will assure you. Being a women of 32 who has a term infatuation is definitely not a problem at all.

Well true enough, people say love is blind and lot of sorts about love, but one thing I know for sure God first loved us and has chosen us to be His children. Its the perfect love that we all could think of.
