Stargate fans! NEW Movie!

The new stargate movie "The Ark of Truth" came out today! Hubby rented it for me and I just watched it! Oh My Gosh! It was awesome! Really great! I'm going to have to buy it! They finally conquer the Ori and tie up all the loose ends of how the series ended! It is full of action and excitement, and it totally worth watching! And even better! They are filming another movie that will come out the summer of 2008! YEAH!

My hubby is a big time fan of stargate and the like and he wants to see this movie too but says it has to be bought in order to see it. Did you buy it? How much is it? And where if you bought it? I'm hoping it'll come out on dvd with netflix so we can rent it. We don't buy movies very often.

It's listed as available to rent from Blockbuster already, so I'm sure Netflix will get it too, unless MGM has some sort of exclusive agreement with Blockbuster.

I don't really get in to stragate. I have watched several of the shows. But it is one of those shows that could come or go. As some shows are good. Others are borning to me. I hope the movie is way better than the show. Hopefully with alot of action. If so than I would like to see it.

I've already added it to my list on Blockbuster.com. I'm holding off until I finish watching the series on DVD. I watched the show on and off over the past few years, but didn't see most of it due to my schedule and the fact I didn't have cable for the first 6 years it was on 
. So, I had a lot of questions about some of the story arcs. My BF gave the the whole honkin' series for christmas, so I've been slogging through them (halfway through season 5 so far). Anyway, I probably won't see it until the summer if I stick to this plan, but goo to hear it was worth watching!

The Ark of Truth has just aired on Sky here in the UK but I don't think that the DVD is available just yet. At the end of the program it said that it would be out "soon"
