How long can you finish a lipstick?

Hi youless, it is exactly the same, I do never have finished even a single lipstick since I first use it. I normally stick on several lipsticks for a year or so. As I worry that too old lipstick might be harmful to the lip so I normally would dispose those older ones. Meanwhile for a non heavy user like me, it is rather wasteful to use them in this manner as all of them have been consumed a little only. Though so, I still couldn’t refrain myself from buying one if the color of the new arrival is so attractive.

I've never been able to finish a tube of lipstick. I mostly just use lipglosses. I find the appearance of lipstick too much for school days, and I don't have a night life, so I rarely use the tubes of lipsticks I buy. I always end up selling them to my sister.

I use mine almost everyday...and it still takes forever to get over. I use the same one till it finishes....I used to have 2-3 at a time earlier and I realized that I used only one. Now I have one that I use regularly and one or two for occassions which are a brighter shade. But yes, it lasts and lasts.

Hmmm... i guess lipgloss lasts around 3 months or more for me even if i use it everyday. haha. =)

My lipsticks never seem to ever be used up and i end up throwing away . I have this one lip shimmer that i like and have had since winter . It is almost gone . Usually it will take 6 months to use up one I like .

Me too it lasts for ever.i dont remember any of my lipaticks getting over.Sometimes when i feel i've had it for too long I just discard it.i dont stick to one colour when I see a good shade I keep picking it up.

I rarely use lipstick, although I own a ton of them. So, it takes me forever to use one.

I never tried buying my own lipstick..LOL, I was spoiled by my sister and friend before, and I remember using them for like 2-3 years and I never finish it since I will just also give it away. I don't use everyday. Now,My husband is the one buying for me..LOL!

I can never finish a lip stick, i still have my first shade of lipstick. I rather go with lip gloss and yeah i can finish them up pretty quick, as i use everyday, and almost give touch-ups often, somehow, i cud just finish up the liquid, but lipsticks take time, i cud never really do that...

I don't remember I ever finish a lipstick! Maybe when I was very young and I finished my whole tube of lipstick, but I don't remember for how long I had been using that. Now, I haven't finished any lipstick I have got. But yesterday I dug out one from my drawer and I tend to finish that one! Wish me good luck!

I know what you mean. I have lipsticks from three years ago and they are so old and junky now. I try to stop using them after a bit though. But I don't throw them away. I love using up my lipgloss though. My daughter uses my lipgloss more than I do. She just puts some on like twenty times a day. I guess she has dry lips. She's a cutie and loves the stuff. I can see where all my money will be going when she grows up. Right out the door and into the department store. LOL!

One year later,I will find that I haven't use off it.Haha,it's good for me.I don't want to buy more.Evry time,when I finish it ,I'll buy a new one.But,sometimes ,it will disappeared.We pay little money for the sticktips,it's good.

One lipstick can last me for about 5 years. So I don't spend much on lipstick or have array of lipstick in many colors. I only have two which is more than enough.

I didn't remember that i finish any of my lipstick, i just know that i need to buy nw one because of its getting old i mean expire already, never use lipstick much.i only apply once during my working day in the morning particularly since working the hotel requires little make up but if im not working i just wear my face with out anything,,sometimes lipgloss makes wonder..

I usually lose it before I can ever finish it!

I am a great lover of lipstick and different shades it takes me a month to finish one up one of my shades lasted for3 months

lol you ask your mum to finish them for you!!! eww! anyways mocving on! i think lipsticks take forever to run out unless you really love the shade, then they dissappear before you know it and you find the store has discontinued the product!

Hi youless. I have this habit of buying a lipstick that once I like it put on me/ it does look good on me and no chapping of lips after effect, I tend to use it always. I will not buy a new lipstick unless the one Im using is empty already. I dont want to change lipstick from time to time since my lip is too sensitive and had tried a lot of brands and got lip chapping.
