How long can you finish a lipstick?

I am not quite sure if what is the exact time I could finished with my lipstick because it is very rare for me to used oftenly I am using my lipgloss during work which is so comfortable for me.

I use mine almost everyday...and it still takes forever to get over. I use the same one till it finishes....I used to have 2-3 at a time earlier and I realized that I used only one.
Now I have one that I use regularly and one or two for occassions which are a brighter shade.
But yes, it lasts and lasts.

I've never been able to finish a tube of lipstick. I mostly just use lipglosses. I find the appearance of lipstick too much for school days, and I don't have a night life, so I rarely use the tubes of lipsticks I buy. I always end up selling them to my sister.

hi,,i cant remember i finish even 1 lipstick..i have a variety of lipstick..different colors for different season.so i cant finish it..

It's according to how I use the lipstick as to how long it lasts, youless. I've managed to use one up in a matter of minutes, but if I am using it as it's supposed to be used I imagine that I would only need one for my entire life.

Hi youless, it is exactly the same, I do never have finished even a single lipstick since I first use it. I normally stick on several lipsticks for a year or so. As I worry that too old lipstick might be harmful to the lip so I normally would dispose those older ones. Meanwhile for a non heavy user like me, it is rather wasteful to use them in this manner as all of them have been consumed a little only. Though so, I still couldn’t refrain myself from buying one if the color of the new arrival is so attractive.

I don't seem to ever be able to finish a lipstick and usually end up throwing it out. I think you're supposed to throw it out after a couple of months. I don't like to use lipstick, anyway, because it feels weird on my lips and disappears as soon as I eat or drink anything.

my lipstick lasts forever too! I still have some from 8-10 years ago! I will lose it before I use it, as the saying goes, lol. Why is that? I think about this once in awhile i will pass the cosmetics section while shopping or whatever and I think how nice it would be to get new lipstick but then i remember i still have so much at home! I think it's been at least 3 years since I've bought any!

I think there was only one time where I finished one shade of lipstick and that was years ago. Nowdays it's all lipgloss and I go through those once every couple of weeks:)

I can honestly say I have never finished an entire tube of lipstick. I think
it is bacause I do not where it very often. Only on special occassions throughout
my life. If I do put on makeup it's usually blush and coverup. Now I have in the
past finished tubes of coverup and powdered blush but it took a long time. More than 6 months I's say.
