How can I lower my blood pressure?

Today I find out my blood pressure is a bit higher than it should be. It is only 2 higher than it should be, but it still concerns me. I know exercise can really help, and I will be starting to exercise more frequently. But what can I change in my diet to lower my blood pressure? Will eating less salt help? Or drinking more water? Any sort of advice you have on this topic would really help me out.

I think stress is more behind high blood pressure than anything else. Of course I'm no doctor but still, that is my feeling about the subject. I do Yoga and highly recommend it as a stress reducer... I bet anything a regular Yoga practice would lower your blood pressure. Probably sooner than later too.

I too have tendency to have high blood pressure. How I prevent it is to have a lot of relaxation. I go to spa every other week and during my free time, I read books or play games.
