Do you admire celebrities? Why? WHy Not?

I don't admire a celebrity for their fame alone. Many notorious people or famous people do not even have my respect -- their lives are too frantic and complicated because of poor choices. Some famous people are in the position they enjoy because of family connections or flukes of luck. However, sometimes, you will find a person who seems to have a grounded view of life or is somehow otherwise respectable. Sometimes, even, your opinion of a person can change with time as they get their life in order -- or fall apart. Generally, I let people live their own lives and I don't get overly interested in what the stars are doing or how they live their life. I will admire or respect someone who displays talent and ability instead of mere fortunate to be born pretty looking with family connections.

I don't admire celebrities very much. As they have to be in public all the time and they don't have any private time. Whatever they do, everybody knows it.

I admire some celbrities, but not all of them. Some of them make it to be rich and famous and they wouldn't give the rest of the world the time of day if they had to. I do admire some of them though because they are still real people and they help out alot of causes in the world.

i admire celebrities that can act different roles. from comedy, to dramatic roles, to psychologically ill roles, every kind of roles an actor can play. if they can play any role very effectively, then i admire them coz i think that's the measure of their talent, aspirations, seriousness for the craft, and the goal of entertaining people.

I just admire those with real talent, not those actors and actresses. Occasionally, I suppose that the goal of the charities of celebrities is to be famous and attractive. They don't care about that small amount of money at all.I admire the athletes who must have excellent talent, singers,dancers,writers and someone like this. cause not everyone could do that things gifted. more important, such persons may bring honor and pride for their countries, making great contribution to the society.

I really don't admire celebrities at all. I think there are a few good ones who think beyond themselves!! But I think most are too selfish.

I have neutral opinions on this issue.Because everyone starts a career for their living and might end up as celebrities or otherwise.
