What do you think about boxing? Do you watch it?

I could never understand why anyone would get in a ring to have their head punched around and possibly end up with brain damage or worse. I realize the money is good but I really don't think it's worth it. I'm not talking about the "Rocky" movies but the real thing where it's not for show but for a title, belt or just the fame.
What do you think about boxers? Is it all for the money and fame or what?

I dislike watching two men punch each other silly and get hurt as a result. It seems downright silly to me to take a chance of getting your skull split open and suffering brain damage from it.Maybe they do get big payoffs but is it worth it?

I totally agree with you but I'm amazed at the amount of women who go to boxing matches and wonder what kind of people they might be to want to sit there and watch it. Men I can understand but women?
