about working from home. the freedom, no boss, extra time with the kids. And as I work from home myself, I like these things too. BUT!!(you knew there had to be a but, right?)What is your downside to work from home. What don't you like! I'll start.I don't like less money for my effort. (And I know take the good with the bad)

With things like mylot, you are at risk for wrist injuries from all the typing. You really have to watch the ergonomics of your workspace to avoid carpel tunnel syndrome. That, I think, would be a downside. If I were a stay at home dad and did this for a bit of extra money, a downside would still be staring at the same four walls all day long. That must get old.

I have made some money here, within the last two yars, I would say maybe $300.00 I also made money on this other website, that was giving away $25.00 for everyone to join, I had over 30 referrals so that was $300.00 for me, $10 for every referral. easy money. I got it with a lot of referrals, so Mylot is good for something, besides chatting. people don't like you to spam them, but I had a good relationship with my friends here, and this other website, where I got referrals.

Ya i like working from home but i am fed up of my mom's frequent rants and i also miss the fun we used to have at workplace. There is no travelling involved so i have put on weight. Also isolation sometimes really gets on me.

That is a good place to start. It is less money with no benefit package. I love working from home though. We cannot afford to buy health insurance though. You never know what you will make weekly, monthly or yearly either. My online earnings fluctuate monthly alot.

My downside to work from home is I will be gradually having less concern with my look and outfit; I may end up wearing pyjamas everyday. In addition, I may put on lots of weight due to the bad habit of craving food. Staying at home is too easy to get any food I want!

well motivation is one but also, i you are a social person like me, it is tough to work at home all by yourself and not have any other human contact. i did that for a while as a freelance writer and now i work in a small office and although i have to commute etc...i do like the people i work with...its like a team or an extended family...i think i would miss that if i didnt work there.

It takes a lot of motivation to work from home on the computer. But (I'll add one myself), I think the more motivated we are, the more we will figure things out and sooner or later, hopefully, our income will be as much if not more than working for someone else.
