Earthday is coming! What do people do in your area to honor it?

In my area, it comes way too early. Walks are often planned and canceled due to inclement weather. So mostly indoor activities must be planned or ones that can be switched to indoors at a moment's notice. If it was in May or June, for our area, that would work out better. We have a lot of children's crafts each year and movies about being better to the Earth or what we've done or are going to do. I'm looking for fun ideas to try and maybe to write about at Helium later (so make sure you don't mind if you see them there). Thanks and take care.
