Earthday is coming! What do people do in your area to honor it?

In my area, it comes way too early. Walks are often planned and canceled due to inclement weather. So mostly indoor activities must be planned or ones that can be switched to indoors at a moment's notice. If it was in May or June, for our area, that would work out better. We have a lot of children's crafts each year and movies about being better to the Earth or what we've done or are going to do.
I'm looking for fun ideas to try and maybe to write about at Helium later (so make sure you don't mind if you see them there). Thanks and take care.

Our local Earthday is Aprl 27th. My local community is having an outdoor party. I'm exhibiting at the event with my books and bookmarks. I'll make a special bookmarks to honor the day and give them away for a donation.

Will your bookmark have anything to do with reducing, reusing, or recycling? Outdoor party sounds good. What are they donating to? Thanks and take care. So Happy Earthday to you all Sunday.

I don't think bookmarks are particularly relevant except that you don't have to throw them away as they're laminated and they have a nice message on them to maybe get you thinking when you reopen your book.

That's good, too. Just thought maybe you were recycling file folders or something when making your bookmarks. But if the message helps them to remember to reduce, reuse, or recycle, that's good, too.
