Who Would You Bite...  |

 If you suddenly found yourself a vampire, whom would you bite?
Mind you, once you bite them, their here to stay…you never get rid of them. I don’t think there’s anyone I would bite…I mean I might if it was going to turn them into a rodent or something…yeah, I could think of a few ppl I’d bite then.
Some ppl might think it would be worth it to never die but I don’t think I’d want to live forever…think of how things would keep changing all around you but you’d never die off…not to mention the fact that you’d have to watch all of your loved ones pass away. Nope…some might think it would be fun or cool but I’ll stick with the boring old path of live, die and move on.
So, what about you? Would you want to live forever? Would you bite anyone and put them in the same spot?

1.  ElicBxn (7074) | 4 months ago |  Actually, if you bite a person, they don't turn into vampires, only if they drink the vampire's blood in return - lets not get this mixed up.
And then they have to die as well.
so, lets say you are bitten by a vampire and bite them back or some how drink their blood - if you don't die that night, and never touch or be touched again by a vampire, you will live a normal life, die and then rise again in 3 days - as a vampire and at the age you were when you drank the blood.
if you don't drink blood you seem to age again until you drink blood and then your youth is restored but there is probably a lot of hunger going on until you do drink blood and probably the writers mostly have new vampires not able to control the blood lust until after they have aged a bit - to over come the "squeemishness" of drinking blood
Some people think that probably vampires can drink any kind of blood - just human blood is the best kind of like creek water and fine wine....

| ElicBxn (7074) | 4 months ago | I've read several takes on the vampire lore. This one seems to be the "best take" on it. Dracula opened his vein - actually I think something on his chest - for the gal and turned her to a vampire.
Its also the one most ascribed to vampires.

Now I have a question for you. You say that if you don't die and are never touched by a vampire you will live a normal life, die then rise in 3 days. What about if you had children during that time. Will they be half vampire? have blood lust??

| ElicBxn (7074) | 3 months ago | That is a great question. I would guess, that if the father is the carrier, it wouldn't be in the genes, but the mother might pass some of it across the barrier.
I doubt that it would make the child become a vampire after death, but it might give them perhaps better than average night vision, or make them somewhat stronger than normal. Or some other vampiric trait. | |

There's a short series of five books which are set in an alternative world Cincinnati where magic, werewolves and vampires are everyday things. The series is pretty good if you like that sort of thing (which I do)

Some believe molevolent spirits possesing corps, others believe suicides, women who lost their child gone insane & started drinking other children's blood, list goes on & on... In some culture, vampires are no different us except in that 2 - 3 times a year, they become vampires & go on "drinking binge" then return to normal human being to survive for the rest of the year... Vampires in some culture walks in daylight, in some other cultures, vampires are lost souls possessing dead corps... Eventhough what we know as vampires nowadays are most popular version of it...

As for me..nope, I wouldn't want to bite anyone no matter how bad they are. I also wouldn't want to be a vampire cause of the life they have to live. Can never come out during the day. Would be a lonely life with not many to talk to.

and to have to kill ppl for nourishment? No Problem lol! i can think of a number of ppl that would barely qualify as food, much less human beings (as in; a GOOD human being and worthy of their life)
now for the "who would i turn" part of the question. undoubtedly i would want someone with me..i imagine at least..and since MOST of the world i would be happy to take as nourishment, there is only one person who comes to mind, or at least tops the list of potential mates.
