A friend is a finalist for Pinoy Dream Academy, she needs support

I have a friend who is among the 32 finalists of the show Pinoy Dream Academy. Her name is Catherine Palma, or better known to her friends as Kate. She was my classmate since grade school until high school. She is really talented and I know that this talent would bring her far. We are very happy that she decided to audition for PDA and that she’s one of the finalists. But the thing is, out of the 32 finalists, they are going to take 15 or so finalists to enter the academy as scholars and vie for the spot of the grand star dreamer. We really can’t do anything about this except to pray. That’s all I’m asking right now from you my friends here in mylot. Please pray for her so she could achieve her dreams. Thank you.
Her story will be aired tonight, 8:00 pm Saturday April 19, 2008, at ABS CBN, during Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus. Thank you all for your prayers and support.

Yes, that is her. How did you know? Anyway she's using the nickname she's called at home rather than the nick we call her in school. You might have wondered because I was referring to her as Kate and she's called Poy inside the academy.
Anyway, I am glad she gets to enter the academy as an honorary scholar even though she wasn't chosen as the one of the regular scholars.

I wrote articles about Pinoy Dream Academy and have to make a research about it in wikipedia. I was wondering who Catherine Palma is, it is very far from the Poy name. But it was stated there. Anyway, God bless to her. :)

I can't wait to watch Pinoy Dream Academy. I really like that show and watched the first batch. I was really glad that my bet, Yheng Constantino won.
I will wait for it to be aired and I really hope that your friend will be included to the final contestants.

Wow a very supportive friend indeed. Well for sure if she has a talent it will be shown in that show. I like watching that show too and looking forward seeing her in the show. Getting inside the academy is quite hard already so if ever she is allowed to get to the academy then she must be good already.
